Am I the only one who prefers playing melee to brawl because despite all the neat new characters and extra features, brawl's physics and flow are just too damn sluggish and awkward? Not to say that Brawl isn't fun every once in a while either but I hope the next game has Melee physics.
So Facepunch, what is your roster predictions for SSB4?
the usuals and megaman maybe a donkey kong villain another star fox character another fire emblem character idk

Brawl seems too floaty for me; however, Homebrew brings a new level of fun to Brawl.

I still had a blast playing through Brawl and unlocking everything with my friends, but the flow of Melee was just so good and fast paced after you got used to it. If the next game has Melee's speed and flow with more content than Brawl then I'll be fine for a long time.
original SSB master race
I hope they keep Snake.
I hope they keep Snake.
If so, I hope they add Old Snake as a costume for him.
I hope they keep Mewtwo.
I hope they keep Mewtwo.
Lucario was pretty much exactly like Mewtwo, except he isn't as half as cool
Lucario got stronger the more damage he took. [editline]26th January 2012[/editline]
Where's that image of pokemon if they swapped gen 1 and 5
Can't find it
Lucario got stronger the more damage he took.
I thought that happened with Mewtwo too [editline]26th January 2012[/editline] and did it make all of his attacks stronger or just his energy ball?
I thought that happened with Mewtwo too [editline]26th January 2012[/editline] and did it make all of his attacks stronger or just his energy ball?
All the aura-based ones I think.
Lucario was pretty much exactly like Mewtwo, except he isn't as half as cool
uh he was almost nothing like mewtwo he had one attack that was in common and that was his neutral b everything else was completely changed still woulda preferred a buffed mewtwo, maybe make his reflection attack actually worth something (as it is in melee it will reflect projectiles but not return damage. what the shit was the reasoning behind that??)
If there's at least one new character, make it possible to switch out Pokemon Trainer's generation of Pokemon. Instead of Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard, maybe Oshawatt, Servine, and Emboar?
uh he was almost nothing like mewtwo he had one attack that was in common and that was his neutral b
well fuck, then I really must have forgotten everything about melee uh, I remember that Mario's B+Down (I think) was a lot better than it is in Brawl [editline]27th January 2012[/editline]
If there's at least one new character, make it possible to switch out Pokemon Trainer's generation of Pokemon. Why would you not add this, Nintendo of America?

Tepig's a digimon lookalike?
Wait... Tepig's a digimon lookalike?
it's a joke but seriously, nobody likes the new generations and it'd make sense to add the second generation, since SSBB's Pokemon Trainer had the starter pokemons from the first gen.
Really, now?
it sucks
it sucks
Elaborate
The new generations don't fit the original style, which was what made me (and millions of other people) enjoy Pokemon in the first place. The new Pokemon look retarded, is what I'm trying to say. They're not cool at all, and I really can't play any of the new games without thinking "Wait, is this REALLY Pokemon?"

[editline]27th January 2012[/editline] 17, why?
The eyes are different and overall there's a large focus away from animals towards anthromorphic and object-based forms, they're uninspired. There's pokemon that are just icecream cones and others are a pile of garbage with arms. The fact that pokemon are made of boldly colored shapes rather than drawn like actual animals makes them just look like they belong in their own series. If you read the lore on the newer pokemon half of it doesn't make any sense, because they're trying to make sense of a floating coffin with ghost arms- which all happen to be identical, it just makes no sense where as the original 150 and even a generation or two beyond had some sense and when lore was explained it fit together well. The newest generation literally is that comic of the pokemon artist just thinking up a toilet and adding a face and limbs to it.

Hi, I'm the ice-cream in a cone pokemon. My name is Vanillish. Hi, I'm the ice-cream in a double-cone pokemon. My name is Vanilluxe. And they could've redeemed that concept with an alternate third evolution: trade the second one whilst it's holding a metal coat. Makes the ice-cream with razor blades in pokemon, called "Vanillouch".
17, why?
then you have no notion of style, at all
pile of garbage with arms.
Grimer/Muk
original 150
Ok, now you're just trolling. Mew exists! Why does no one understand this? Yes it's unobtainable without exploits, but it still exists. Stop saying origonal 150.
