Ragemidget is becoming stronger by the day.
He's been working out in my danger room for about two years straight now, his personality stats have turned from "he is tough" into "absolutely inexhaustible, basically unbreakable, amazingly agile and strong" and his mental stats have become "he has an unbreakable will, an astounding feel for the position of the body, a stunning feel for spatial relationships and the ability to focus"
Not to mention his legendary military skills.
He is the messiah, just one without any mercy for his enemies.
Tell him... to go forth, go conquer, and go unleash a firestorm of hellish massacres upon all those who oppose him and the kingdom which he hath pledged his undying allegiance to...
I think I should start making separate workshops over magma, so if anyone gets a fey mood I can just kill them with lava and prevent him going berserk.
Alternatively, you could just build cage traps in the doorway of the workshops so that if they go berserk, you'll get good fighters for your battle arena or you could release them to the caverns to kill off unwelcome visitors or die trying.

"Danger Room", as in a room full of spikes or some kind of Dwarven dojo consisting of the aforementioned spike room, barracks and an arena to kill prisoners ?
And boy oh boy you will rue the day he gets a mood and fails it :v: .

I don`t think I need to tell you what to do when you get besieged.

A room full of repeating spikes, that is the barracks itself. I don't use cage traps so no prisoners, I just send them in the caverns to kill shit every now and then, and kill ambushes and sieges.

Gave him a sidekick. Psychognome Lordwheel, an incredibly friendly (97/100) dwarf that snaps very easily (rage 73/100). He's armed with two exceptional steel battleaxes and has just started his career. His alias is a legendary weaponsmith.

I just stared playing. Created my first forteress. But marble, marble everywhere. What to do with all the marble?
Wait, can dwarves duel wield now? Fuck, a berserker would be badass.

They can pick up two weapons if you assign them, yes.

Make floors out of it (and lots of furniture), dump the rest (>make a zone>designate as dump>[d]-[b]-[d] and mark what you want dumped).

Also reclaimed my fortress I lost to a tantrum spiral, going pretty well for now, upped the security a lot, should be able to hold a Goblin ambush at least.

When making barracks there is an option for "Indiv Eq" and "Squad Eq", what does that do?
Okay so my tanner was attending a party at the meeting room of my fort, where he decided to fly into a berserk rage for reasons unknown, proceeded to tear the ear off a nearby baby Alpaca, beat to death a nearby dwarf almost instantly, chase the entire population of the fortress down a corridor, until he ran into a planter who proceeded to beat him till his blood covered the walls and he died. Did I mention he did all of this while MISSING HIS HANDS.
What the FUCK

WHAT? Don't dump marble, it's an indispensable stone if you have no other flux. It is used in the production of steel, and if you want a fort to last you will need a lot of steel. Steel being the best alloy for weapons and armour, only bested by adamantine

Yeah but if the whole fortress is pretty much made out of it he shouldn't have problems finding more. Also doesn't cancelling the dump zone allow dwarves to take the stuff piled there? It's not lost forever.

You can reclaim things that get dumped. That's why it's so widely used.
Hiding it is probably the best method though, unless he's like me and hates the idea of it still being around.
I always run out of Marble, so I just leave it around. I usually end up searching for it.
How do I make a stair/ramp to the top of a wall? Can't place stairs inside walls, can't place them in an empty block, and same goes for the ramps.
Is there anyway to increase the amount of followers in adventure mode? I'd love to raise a horde and crush a few empires.

Build beside them.

The more famous you are for killing giants and beasts and shit the more dudes will join you.
Careful though, if you attack a random Civ, one of your friends could be from that civ and start attacking you.

All right, one more question about adventure mode. I can't seem to be able to equip any new weapons, I was attacked and my sword was dropped and now I can't equip it. I've read what the wiki has to say about equipping, but none of the commands work.
Also, do you need to eat in the newest build?
I made a corpse stockpile but still the corps riddle my forteress creating pink mist everywhere.
Why don't they move the corpses into the stockpiles?
Also qestion about barrels: Once I make barrels are they automatically sent to the place they're needed?

Not sure about eating, but you don't need to equip weapons, when you pick them up they go into your hand, and that's all you need. Just hold it in your hand.

No to eating.
To picking up a weapon: Drop the weapon you want, and drop anything in the hand you want to have as your sword/axe/mace hand. Pick up the weapon, and then pick up whatever you dropped. If you have a free hand, anything you pick up will be held in that hand.

Barrels go to the furniture stockpile I think. But once they're needed they will be sent to where they're needed.

Are the corpses forbidden? What kind of corpses are they?

Yeah, that's one of the commands I can't get to work, the wiki says r is drop, yet I can't.

d is to drop, not r.
If that doesn't work, you could always just throw (t) whatever is in your hand and pick it up later.

Right, I'll try that. Thanks.
Fucking ghost lagging my Fortress up.
