I dunno, I personally hide them and only show them at corners / if it's a particularly badass engraving [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] Am I the only one who keeps his booze and food stockpiles separate? Food stockpiles fill incredibly fast, and that way I can forbid them from using barrels anywhere but booze stockpiles.

Overproduction is bad.

It's just tidier to keep the production at a steady level.

Okay one of the hunters came back from the hunt and cut the tanner into a billion pieces with his bolts, I thought Toady fixed that? His head flew clean off [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] Okay it seems to be over, but I'm getting bored of this fort, DF just runs so slow now and I can't get a grip of the military system

You guys have really tidy fortresses, mine looks like this: *No pics yet because they weigh so fucking much* Holy shit the things weigh 135MB [B]each[/B], give me a sec to fix that. Also what's a good place to upload light (images mostly) stuff? You know, one without all the emo/scene/fag crap on the front page.

I just use Imageshack for all my image uploading needs.

[editline]29th March 2011[/editline] How good is your PC?[/QUOTE] 2.53ghz dual core and I doubt the GPU really affects THAT much 40d ran at 100FPS until I hit around 70 dwarves, but my current fort hovers around 43FPS and I've got less than 30

My CPU is only 2.3ghz (quad core) and I've never had to stop playing because of low FPS. :colbert:

I don't exactly have to stop playing, but when dwarf movement and actions go at a 50% lower speed than what I'm used to it's boring

Damnit Wiki is down. Anyway my chief medical dwarf is possessed and now he's just sitting in his room walking around (with a baby) not doing anything. Is that because I don't have the right workshop?
