He was killed for a "violation of production order".... The thing is, everyone involved in this were part of the original seven of my dwarfs.. The carpenter, the mayor, and the fucking captain of the guard.

[B]Another[/B] ambush, this time they didn't manage to do shit as the human caravan slaughtered them. Now I have a giant feathered tarantula (titan) headed my way though, hopefully will be handled by the human caravan, if not the marksdwarf are ready, the axe dwarfs are ready and the 10 z-level pitfall is ready. Butcher and planter both berserk, the planter was the last planter left of my four master growers. Well, more practice for my military forces I suppose. Also, a legendary miner went stark raving mad, so I suppose I'll lose him too.

Daaaaaamn human caravan guards are good. Slaughtered 2 goblin ambushes and a forest titan without even getting scratched.

Umm... The outpost liason is sleeping in the bed of one of my military dwarves... I feel he deserves to die... Will the dwarves at the caravan know?

Uh, well this is quite a problem. Every time I kill the forest titan, the game crashes after 3-5 seconds. Tried twice, and both time it crashed. What should I do?

All of my dwarves are killing each other! My elite squad is still sane, however it is also the smallest squad, but it seems to be kicking ass. Oh, and the traders started attacking with their men. It was a dwarven caravan..

A civil war caused by you attacking a friend, and then he gets branded an enemy, then he gets attacked, the attacker becomes an enemy etc etc. Eventually your whole fort thinks of eachother as enemies.

One of my miners got vaporized by rushing magma when he valiantly opened a magma pool for my magma forge complex. His death will be briefly mourned.

Oh my god... He's still alive... and he's fighting against basically six people at once. Kicks one guy, punches other in the face, rips the ear off another. Some people fighting him have fucking armor and weapons. This guy has been hit in the body and head with maces, and has been stabbed.... But he goes on! Then a bull ripped his foot off and now he is kneeling on the ground, fighting off a mob of very angry carpenters, blacksmiths, and brewers. Even though his wife was butchered to death, and that he killed 9 of his friends, he is ecstatic.... I think all he ever wanted was blood... Lol.. Also it was a easy battle, just 60 pages of 10 dwarves bashing and slashing it until someone got lucky and tore the brain.

GODDAMNIT STEVEN SEAGAL IS INVINCIBLE! I sent my only sane dwarf after him. This dwarf was virtually unharmed, is a talented macedwarf, has good armor, and already killed 2 of the other militia captains, COULD NOT defeat Steven seagal. Steven Seagal that has no eye, has fucking like intestines drooping out, and limps. Steven doesnt even have a shield, he beat him with a shitty copper short sword... The quality of a ranged based weapon is always superior to the material it's made out of, with the material only factoring in when they're slamming it into the face of someone at close range. Since it's an artifact, that means it's never going to miss when in the hands of someone who knows how to use crossbows.

Any other (easier) way to bring up magma than a pumpstack?

Well damn. Anyway, that reminds me that I need to get a smaller tileset for my netbook. The square fix is too wide, so an 8x8 might be perfect.

A piston look like a viable alternative, considering I don't need that much magma.

almost finished with my danger room and had tons of iron platinium an cool fortress etc and when i saved my save got corrupted and crashes the game when i start

Hmm, might make a huge magma piston that leads to the top of my mountain. That way when the fortress does fall (afterall, sooner or later it will), I'll drop the enormous piston into the magma, creating a magma-apocalypse.
