My weapon trap filled entrance is working very well. I just noticed all the miasma, and now I'm picking bits of rotten goblin out of them. armorsmith grabs some platinum bars, some leather and some gems. and what does he make? a shoe. not even any special images. just the usual spikes and rings. Sadly, the world seems to have ignited.
My completely unexperienced wrestlers just cut open a unicorn's leg, head and bruised it, apart from punching it's teeth out.
I tried this a bit. Without any understanding i had no idea what was happening in the screen. I obviously saw the dwarfs but this happens when i don't read the manual at all.
Two problems: Two military dwarves are wounded in bed, and nobody will bring them water. One already starved to death, the second one is about to. I even designated not one, but two dwarves to only bring food and water to wounded, but nothing. My marksdwarves won't practice with their crossbows (and there is nothing to hunt), resulting in that they all are rusty now. So is the high (175 dwarves + 80 animals, unless the animals are already counted in the population, then 175 in total) amount of units moving around fucking up the pathing and AI?

My legendary bowyer makes some pretty nice ass crossbows so they sell for a lot w/ caravans. Yay.

Siege force of 15 goblin macemen led by a (flashing) hammergoblin heading for my fort entrance, guarded by give SUPER LEGENDARY ELITE GUARD (every single melee fighting related skill except weapon skills are legendary) wearing nice quality steel & bronze armor, and every single one has a breastplate AND a mail shirt. They're mostly using bronze weapons since that's what they're used to. Supported from above my five SUPER LEGENDARY ELITE MARKSDWARVES (same as above), but not all of them are using metal bolts. In reserve I have ten adequate swordsdwarves and my SUPER AMAZING HYPER LEGENDARY captain of guard, wearing two breastplates (!), a mail shirt and all other full armor pieces, all of adamantine, and underneath he wears adamantine clothes. I'm pretty confident I will win since even if the sieging force defeats my five superlegendaries most of them will be caught in cage traps, and my captain of guard should be able to handle the rest. BUT: I need some cool battle theme.
Guile theme goes with everything.
How about something other than Guile theme, I know it goes with everything but I want to try something else
