If you're draining the lava sea, make sure you have some kind of supportive structure so you can still survive. Become entirely self-contained, no more migrants or trade routes, just your dwarves and their fortress underneath the lava covering the world.

Well, it's been eight years, most of their clothes are already in tatters, and I still get 100fps unless something interesting is happening or I just designated a massive engrave order. Then again, some dwarves choose to go naked, as a sign of their massive wealth, since they own a cabinet.

I have to say the graphics annoy me to death, i normally think old games look great, but this is just unplayable.

I do, then it gets even worse, repeating tiles are the worst.

what the fuck just happened A child was walking outside next to my walls, when a goblin ambush appeared right beside him. The child VANISHED. Into thin air. The goblins were around the spot, walking aimlessly because they lost their target, and I couldn't find the child in my units list at all. He wasn't even in my fort anymore! A couple of minutes later, he reappears in his bedroom. Sleeping like nothing ever happened. He was also visible in the units list again. I'm renaming him Harry.

Crysis averted everyone! :buddy: The lava sea had just drained into my shaft and it has stopped now. Although my suturer is going berzerk in his bedroom and he just stands there. He isn't running, he isn't killing, just standing in place and is hungry and dehydrated. [editline]11th April 2011[/editline] Apparently, he couldn't get out because the door was stuck so when I took away the door, he ran out.
