Wow, this looks incredible.
Assassin's Creed was the worst game I ever played though.
Also, the video is bizarre Benny Hillified.

Either you are greatly exaggerating, or you have played very few games.
I have the first game of this series... But have never installed it should I?
YES.
You wont regret it.
I don't see what was so amazing about that video that makes everything think it's prerendered besides the animations. Everything else graphically seemed a little above average, but not unobtainable.
Anyways, if that's the way the gameplay behaves, I think I'll need to up my coordination, because that's some nifty handiwork.
Either you are greatly exaggerating, or you have played very few games.
Agreed. If a game isn't exactly what the hype promised, it doesn't magically turn into the woarst game evar >:( In my opinion the jumping and fighting was very entertaining.
Up till she went in to the toilet, i was like OSHIT is that in game??? then i knew it was a cinematic.
also its in india :P
The first one was released on PS2 at least, so I'd figure PS3, 360 and maybe PC later on.
First one was also on Xbox and Computer.
Also, I REALLY need to go back and finish the First one. I haven't gotten around to it...
wtf happened to it
Even though it seems like it would be a pain in the ass to have a camera like that in game, I think I would vastly enjoy it. Something different.
It's prerendered.
Games don't have such advanced motion blur and lighting yet.
And it be a miracle if you'd see a camera that acted that well in a game.
Maybe it's a scripted in-engine movie.
They called this:
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/34508.html
in-engine too IIRC.
That trailer only brought one phrase to my mind - "I've covered wars y'know."
Looks like it could be good, but where be all the non-humans?
No way that you can go into every building like that and have each one have a specific family / person in it for the entire city so on so on. But still...looks great.

Actually you could. You have it generate a family on the fly. That is what most games do. They generate things as you play through so as you get close to the house it creates a random family inside.
Yeah, this is very likely in-engine, and in-game. If you study the camera movements, they are still very game-ish, in that they always provide a good angle to control from. The animations repeat pretty often, and the world isn't ridiculously detailed.
The lighting shows that this isn't completely in game. Probably like the Team Fortress 2 rendered videos. At one point running through the house she had 3 dynamic shadows, and two of them dissipated realistically. I haven't seen any game with that yet, so I won't believe it.
Damnit, if only my internet didn't suck so I could analyze every pixel in HD :argh:
It's obviously pre-rendered. Besides, why would they leak what appears to be nothing more than a proof of concept video? If you ask me they want it to go viral as a marketing thing.
Guys, the game doesn't look that good,it could be in game for what concerns graphics.
Remember that it's 3rd person, if it was 1st person you'd probably see that the graphics are great, but not that great.
The animations surely look a bit too awesome, but look at what ME did in first person.
And it seems that there are only humans this time, at least of what is shown. I guess that they are targeting a more "mature" audience.
In my opinion "mature" doesn't mean "bloody and violent", but that seems to be the general opinion.
Holy fuck, was that a crane on a helicopter!
What has science done?
Beyond Good & Mirror's Edge
Another piece of in-game evidence: At about 36 seconnds in, look at the belt on her back. it clips through her shirt as she gets up very briefly...
Likely prerendered and shot to look like it's ingame.
never completed this game. i sold my xbox though :/ seems intresting though, i like the camera
*cough*Mirrors Edge*cough*
But it'll have a better story I'm sure of.

So? A possible simple mistake by an animator doesn't mean that it has to be ingame. Also, can you imagine playing a game with that camera? Sure it looks nice, but it wobbles, spins, and turns way to freaking fast for it to be playable without the player getting extremely sick.
The camera bothers me, but otherwise this is Mirror's Edge and Assassin's Creed mixed with some speed.
What the fuck happened?
That's not BG&E!
That looks like Mirror's Edge in third person!
The Mirror's Edge-assisted-in-third-person mechanics are from Assassin's Creed - I sure as hell hope it's more fluid than holding down the space button and steering Altai(double-dot)r from beam to beam.
i didnt know they where going to make another one, i never finished the first one
another thing that i noticed if you abbreviate the name BGAE it says B GAE
