Runes of magic is halfway decent but it requires much more effort to get both classes to pay off, plus you get awesome combos like Rogue/Mage (Yes i did do that and it is awsome)
If you decide on runes of magic, and pick a pvp server and don't intend on using the cash shop, prepare to rage. Also mage/priests are op.
If you want turn based. Try atlantica online, the major grind starts at lvl 97 as exp required increases by about 5x
There is no such thing as GOOD and FREE MMORPG unless had been made free recently (like D&DO or Anarchy Online)
I have a strange feeling of getting into an RPG, or trying. at one point i really loved them but i lost track and i kinda want a feel for one.
But i have NO IDEA which one to get, I've looked at a bunch of them but their are a shit load of Free Rpgs out there, it's staggering. So Facepunch help, what in your opinion is the best free RPG. Personally i would love one with a big fan base and a lot of players.
:downsbravo:
Dekaron (Fun for a while)
Gunz (Third Person Shooter)
EuDemons (Awesome RPG)
Conquer (Awesome RPG
Battle Forge (Card Game RPG)
Maplestory (Grind Lol)
Runescape (Weeee)
Lineage 2 (Private Server)
PSOBB (Private Server)
Rakion (Action RPG)
Theres some free gaems :iia:
Rakion is alright, I used to play that.
I think I might actually pick it up again, I remember having a lot of fun with that one, as horrible-12-year-old-infested as it might've been.
I enjoyed gunz, might try and download it again when i get around to it
Lineage 2 Private server, definitely. Try "TehGamers" it's a great private server. It has 3 servers, low exp, medium exp and high exp (PvP). It's a huge download, but trust me, it's awesome and I always end up going back to play it again, it's the best MMORPG I have ever played.

I agree mages are quite OP, I don't see what the cash shop gives you a advantage for on the pvp server though.
Flyff is fun untill you reach lvl 40 then its just GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND...
Perfect world, very nice and good graphics (best graphics for a free mmo i have ever seen), nice territory wars etc.
Runescape.
Seriously.
Runescape.

Fun joke.
(not)
Warrior Epic.
Kind of like Dungeon Runners, but more.
Way more.

Sword of the New World (Granado Espada) begs to differ.

You should mention that you can control 3 characters at once.
That game is also grind..
That game is also grind..
Tell me MMORPG that isn't grind? There is ones with more grind and ones with less grind but there NO MMORPG with no grind
Dungeons and Dragons Online goes free in a few days. Look into that, tons better than many pay to play MMOs.
Runes of Magic is a good one.
If you don't mind some shitty translation every so often.
Other than that.
World of Wa- I mean Runes of Magic, is a great game.
try looking up entropia universe.
You can buy in game money but you can also earn it. Nothing is blocked to non paying players although it takes a lot longer to get anywhere.
Best thing is you can turn in game money back into real money (fully supported by the company that made the game) Its 10 in game money to one USD.
SOTNW doesn't look as good in-game as it does in the screenshots.

Also it's grind-grind-grind non stop, even if it is afk-grind, you never actually play, you find a good spot, put on auto-attack, and alt-tab to do something else.
Why alt+tab when there's a window mode option?
RF online
It was free a last year for american's to play. then it closed down.
Somehow there's this "Grand opening" again, free to play woot.

Dungeons & Dragons Online, seriously, it has a great combat system that isn't "click once and then watch as your character does some shit" and it's free.

Omg really? that's fucking great! i hate the click and wait style of most MMO's. it's kinda lame.
wish there was an mmo hack and slash.

Isn't Gunz some sort of "Fly through the air sideways while firing two pistols at once" game?
Isn't Gunz some sort of "Fly through the air sideways while firing two pistols at once" game?
Yea i played it.
Doing butterflys and going K-style gave me CP in a month. i'm mashing buttons so fast my keyboard broke lol it basically killed itself.
Archlord has potential, but it is literally pure grind.
After a day of play, Anarchy Online has me hooked. Tons of fun playing as a martial artist, so far.
However, everyone seems to be praising DDO. I'll definitely play that. I love pen'n'paper DnD, so perhaps I'll like it's MMO counterpart.

I've tried this game. It's visually prety attractive but i'm the that type of person who doesn't like controlling multiple characters at once. The server is very unpopulated annd the overall the gameplay isn't very attractive, its boring. Yeah, usually MMOs are boring games but usually the action is replaced with attractiveness. At this case, it's not. People who are into anime probably like this game.
Anarchy online's also visually prety attractive, if you like space fantasy MMOs. And it's all about grinding. Which really makes the game boring.
Dungeons and dragons seems prety nice. But i think i'll pass on this one since it don't seem to have "it".

You can't get away from it so I don't know why this is always brought up.
