Went by Taco Bell today just to get the box, unfortunately the code wasn't a winner. And apparently my android phone isn't compatible with their app, so I can't play the game to win one either. ffff
For that price? No thanks. I'd rather save up and buy a better phone early next year when my contract ends. I don't see the need to be logging around a PSP anymore.
Hi im sony and i hate money! http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/07/vita-umd-passport-wont-be-offered-in-us/
The feature seems pointless anyway, for us and Sony. We have to pay for it again (lowest being $6.), it probably works on a limited number of games since there appears to be no valid way of confirming old PSP.
it costs money to do it in the first place i guess they didn't think it was worth it
You can run custom firmware on any PSP model running any official firmware version at this point. When the PS3 was hacked the PSP signing keys were leaked as well and unlike on the PS3, Sony wasn't able to fix it. It isn't permanent custom firmware so you have to boot into it each time you start the system up but I like that, less risk of bricking and you can keep both CFW and OFW on the same system. http://code.google.com/p/procfw/ [editline]5th February 2012[/editline] Looking at their site, seems the Pro-CFW guys have an official firmware check bypass for the Vita already. I think this thing is going to be fully hacked soon
also because I was really tired one night and got my memory cars stuck in a reader and scratched it. I really need to get a new one.
hey guys whats going on
here's a guy using a sledgehammer instead of a microwave kinda impressive how the vita took two direct blows from a sledgehammer before the 3rd one bursted it into treats.
That bit on the glass makes me super excited, that shit's never gonna break. :D
I'll wait for the PS Vita Slim, I still have my old PSP 1.

So I heard that Gravity Rush won't be a launch title. Anyone know if this is true?
That bit on the glass makes me super excited, that shit's never gonna break. :D
the vita has no glass
So I heard that Gravity Rush won't be a launch title. Anyone know if this is true?
It's been true, it was never planned for launch. Just launch window.
Well I tried the PS Vita, I really really Like the OLED, but it feels so funky thoug.
fucking amazon.ca glitch is sending out vita pre-release bundles to some already http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/10/canadian-gets-playstation-vita-early-thanks-to-faith-good-works/
All of my Vita accessories and games are shipping now. 16gb Memory Card, Uncharted Golden Abyss and Modnation Racers Road Trip. Should be here by the 13th. Too bad I'll just get to stare at them for a good week until my Wi-Fi Vita gets in. :suicide: EDIT: I'm in the process of making a Launch Thread for Vita with all the information I know. EDIT: Sony Vita Launch Video EDIT: I made a new thread in anticipation of the launch.
Awesome vid, makes me want one.
ANy Canadians out there, if you pre-order the wifi version from Futureshop you get a free 4gb mem card for it.
so how does everyone like the first edition bundle it's cool i guess
I'll wait for the PS Vita Slim, I still have my old PSP 1.
Honestly if they do make a PSV Slim, I really do wonder how much slimmer it can get. Isn't already pretty damn thin as it is? And has anyone noticed Sonys trend? PS1/PS2/PS3/PSP/PSV. Notice, the last three sound the same! "Hey <Insert Generic Name Here>, have you gotten the new PSV?" "The PSP? Nah man that shits old." "No the PSV!" "Ooooh the PS3?, yea but it got no game." "Oh never mind!" Yea, I know it's not LAWL funny, but it's true.
The second there's news of a new Monster Hunter game (or MPH3) coming out on the Vita i'm buying this sucker. Otherwise I think I'm gonna wait it out and see if it's really worth the money.
my first edition bundle shipped today, lumines also shipped today and i just received rayman origins boxes and game carts are so small omgz kinda shitty that the console itself wont hold the save files, i mean it could just include 1 or 2 gigabytes and that would be enough for a lot of game saves...
While I was at EBGames today to check out their PSV demo, I over heard one of the clerks warning a customer that they have gotten two defective pre-order PSV's. He didn't go into a whole lot of detail, but this is basically why I'm waiting to get one. I knew there would be issues and this solidifies that theory. Of course this could be an isolated incident, however in one store there are two defective copies? That's probably only 2% of what they received.

No more claw! No more stretches after every hunt!
I'll wait for the PS Vita Slim, I still have my old PSP 1.
the slim model should be called the Revita
Got mine. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/kGAED.jpg[/img_thumb] My initial thoughts: - It's nowhere near as bulky as I thought. - It's about as light as a slim PSP. - I miss the XMB. I prefer it over the balls. - The music that plays in the menus gets annoying eventually. - During the initial setup, a bug cropped up when trying to log into PSN that didn't allow me to finish setting the handheld up because there is a system update. I had to skip the PSN login step and do it after the initial setup was completed. - The PSN store is there in it's entirety. Purchased and downloading UMvC and Metal Slug Anthology for it right now. - Charger and USB cable are the same, like how iPod and iPhone cables are. I like that. I got it early by pre-ordering at the local Sony Style store. If you have one near you and interested, find out if they have them in stock too.

When I tried the demo it felt very comfortable and easy to hold. Like it was meant to be there. That's always good for a hand held. No one wants a clunky awkward game, they want a comfortable grip.
how the fuck do you do 15 puzzle in 50 seconds
why do you guys already have the vita?
