It comes out on my birthday. I'm so tempted to buy it, oh so tempted.
in lumines im told i didnt contribute to the world block even though i played voyage and stopwatch 30 seconds, wth
[editline]16th February 2012[/editline]
so sexy when the announcer says voyage
I've pre-ordered the Vita using Amazon's deal and it should hopefully be here on the 22nd. Definitely getting Rayman and Wipeout, and as I've been hearing how fantastic the d-pad is for fighters I'll be picking up BlazBlue as well. I'm not concerned in the slightest about the quality of the Vita itself as I've been hearing nothing but positive comments from FEB buyers, but I am a little worried about how it will do sales wise.
Despite that, quite excited.
why do you guys already have the vita?
America and Canada could both pre-order something called the "First Edition Bundle" which nabbed them the Vita a week earlier than everyone else.
I'm still deciding between Army Corps of Hell, UMvC3, or Wipeout 2048 as my first Vita game. I have no interest in Uncharted, and nothing else really screams out at me.
i only got 72.8k points in voyage and it makes my entire body hurt, my throat is sore, this game is cursed
levelled up twice in one go lol
the slim model should be called the Revita
The slim slim model should be the RevitaLite
i played a tiny bit of rayman origins and i don't really like how characters are drawn or the humour, is it just me
gameplay is better than the original game though
You must be crazy, I downloaded the demo for shits and giggles and was blown away by the art, I agree the humor's crude, but really does anyone give a shit? It's solid platforming, kind of regretting not trying this on the consoles when it came out, but I'm definitely picking it up now.
i said how the characters are drawn like in cutscenes, the stages/backgrounds are really good
i dont get why enemies turn into bubbles before dying though, whats up with that, or is it something that will be revealed later on in the game
also lumines is best game
I haven't got mine yet but next week I should have enough money to order it
anyone know if the first edition bundle will still be available by then or is it expected to be sold out?
here are some cool vita related stuff I found:

Game on!!!
i may get my vita on monday already.. i'm so excited
I should probably get one of these.
Later when I have money :v:
I want to want Vita, but there are no good games yet.
And I'd still have to use my old, fat, slightly cracked first generation PSP because I can't use any of the games with the Vita.
I recently received a memory card, it's half the size of a nickel.

I also want the Vita but the $249.99 price tag is scary. Especially since I want a memory card that can hold a lot of stuff so I'd probably go for the 32GB one for $99.99. I do however LOVE the fact that games are cheap. I saw them at $29.99, $39.99, and the most (the only game really, Uncharted) at $49.99.
I'd be spending $379.97($429.37 with Tax).

now the only missing thing is the vita itself :(
Got Shinobido 2, since it looks cool to me. I also got Dungeon Alliance, but I think I'll return it when I pick up my Vita Wednesday, and get something else, like UMvC3 or BlazBlue
^^^^^^^^^^^LOL WORST GAMES EVER
Does anybody know if Canada is doing the Taco Bell Unlock the Box? Looking at the websites only america's seem to acknowledge it.
I am wondering if PS2 emulator is possible on vita. Would be cool

I haven't heard of anything other than the PSP emulator. Can anyone confirm if PS1 games are possible? I heard that they are, but only through Remote Play with a PS3 that has that PS1 title on it.
Aren't they linked to your PSN?
unit 13 demo broke my vita.
neat :l
I picked up my Vita today along with a 4 gig memory card. I have no more money until this Friday, so I didn't get to pick up any games. The screen looks really nice though. Let me know if there's anything you specifically want to know about.
I thought there was a Wipeout 2048 demo on the PSN marketplace? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
edit: Netflix looks godly on this device. Add me on PSN, I need friends on this thing.

Get it from NewEgg. I bought mine without having to pay taxes or shipping fees.
While Escape Plan is downloading, here are some of my impressions after 2-3 hours of use.
1.) The UI is very responsive, but at the same time it seems to take longer to navigate then the XMB.
2.) Uncharted Looks great. I have never played games on a smart phone, so to me I was visually blown away by it. It also doesn't hurt that I'm generally not one to obsess over small details.
3.) The controls take some getting used to, but after a bit of time, Uncharted was playing more or less like it's console brethren.
4.) Download games/content from PSN seems well integrated, and managing downloads is just a click away.
5.) Transferring content from a PC to a Vita is a bit slower then the PSP, since you have to use the content manager. That said, it's still relatively easy to put what you want on and take what you want off the Vita.
6.) Yeah, the screen looks really nice. My first thought after opening the box and seeing the Vita for the first time was thinking how big the screen was.
That's about it for now, Escape Plan is almost done, and then I have to download the demo for Unit 13.
It's around £150 on Amazon US if you convert to pounds but £200 in the UK!
I'm really not a fan of the thumbsticks on the Vita, that and the buttons themselves being tiny really put me off it. The thumbsticks feel like an N64 joystick in that they seem to fix into UDLR, instead of being being freely movable.
