Not near as impressive as Nvidia's kal-el. Quad core cpu @ 1.5GHz with a 12 core gpu. I was under the impression it would be a KAL-EL device but with a SGX543 it looks like it's an OMAP4 chip.

Not that that's bad but I thought sony would be going for latest and greatest. I guess they needed to cut down to keep the price competitive. Nobody will be lining up for a $500 device compared to a $300 one.

Also that rumor about cutting the ram down to 256mb better not be true. Sony could easily turn a profit using 512 or even 786mb in a $300 product. Anyway looking forward to having some kickass mobile games.
