So the minimum attack of the weapon would be rolling 10 dice and each of them being 1's, and the maximum attack would be rolling 10 dice and all of them being 2's. Pretty much means 10-20 damage. But your pistol there, it has a range of 1-21 Machine guns in this game have the highest minimum attack I think, but also the lowest maximum attack. out of those three weapons, you would probably want to use the silver machine gun. Also what are your guys names in game, so maybe I can see you in the elochat, or see when you die. :P
So depending on how much base damage (10) and how many sides the dice has (lets say 3) the total damage would be 10-30, right?
I don't know what you mean by base damage, but I suppose the number of dice you are rolling could be considered the minimum amount of damage, and then the number of dice times the number of sides each dice has would be the maximum damage. So 10d3 would be 10-30 damage. [editline]11:23PM[/editline] My characters name is Skwee, his alias is Grief Sex. lol

to the idiot(s) who was(were) complaining about the controls, you can edit them to your liking by modifying the config.txt! Do some fucking research next time!
It's the numbers, I have no idea what the numbers in the parenthesis mean.

Indeed, there are acronyms for explaining which dice to roll and how many. Look at the example below to see how it works. You are told to roll 2d20. -The 2 refers to how many die are being rolled. So, from the example, you would pick up and roll 2 dice. -The d part refers to the word "dice". So, you know what you're picking up 2 of. -The 20 refers to the type of die being rolled. So, you would roll 20-sided die. In the example above, you would then pick up and roll two twenty-sided dice.
That's how the damage rolls work in most roguelikes. [editline]11:01AM[/editline] My character's name is Shadow Virgin by the way.
That's how the damage rolls work in most roguelikes. [editline]11:01AM[/editline] My character's name is Shadow Virgin by the way.
What about the (18) next to it though?
What about the (18) next to it though?
Don't know about that :buddy: [editline]11:50AM[/editline] The main thing I hate in this game is how quickly your character becomes hungry. I spend about 80% of my playing time wandering in the woods, trying to desperately find api nuts and edible leaves to make food from. Would be an awesome game if I didn't have to worry about food all the fucking time.
I turned into a criminal.. How do I like, stop being a criminal?
I honestly think that it doesn't matter if you can edit the controls, because the way it's set up is not user friendly at all and very hard to get used to. If I am to ever play this game there will need to be some serious changes to that part, such as even the most basic of things: a fucking menu that you can click. It's not like you don't have all the time in the world to decide what to click on, if you don't move, nothing else does anything either.
Is the game world developing in any way? [editline]01:08PM[/editline] I'm in the attribute screen, how do I go further? All I can do is roll dices and lock stuff.

pianist is shit you can't play anywhere without someone throwing rocks at you.
ARGH! FUCKING FOOD! Why do I have to eat 6 times EVERY FUCKING DAY? The days only last about 10 minutes anyway. And the wiki says to do the main quest BUT NO ONE IS TELLING ME SHIT ABOUT IT! It's all retarded "bring me this" or "go kill this" quests. And I'm a level 3 pianist, I can't fight.
I think you oughta do quests, but since the guards insta-kill you when you enter towns, it's impossible.

Whiny pussies. I remember playing this a long time ago and having fun, now it's all more simplified and people still complain, geez.
It would help if I could play the piano without being stoned to death.

This is a roguelike, not a shiny, click and things die FPS.
I turned into a criminal.. How do I like, stop being a criminal?
I became one and I had to sneak into towns and hide from guards and get quests from citizens who were near the border to the town. Eventually after completing a few, I was no longer a criminal.
You also gain 10 karma per death by guard after level 6.
Oh christ. I remember reading that drinking of fountains may cause you to be pregnant with an alien. But I wanted to see what other effects could happen aswell. "You swallow something bad. You get pregnant" I'M A MAN [editline]04:21PM[/editline] What the fuck did I just find
what.
How do i get wings?
Buy them. They only make you float.
Oh man, oh MAN. I read a two bloody scrolls in a row in the puppy cave, because i didn't know what they would do. Now my feather hat is dreadful, and it keeps teleporting me around. Also, it's cursed so i can't take it off! Does anyone know where to get a scroll of uncurse? Does anyone know how to wish for things in wizard mode? I won't use it for cheating anywhere else, i just hate this hat so much.
