What can I do to accomplish my life long dream? :C
Go north of Palmia to this grey stone thing. There are a bunch of altars there. The top right one should be the God of Harvest. You get free seeds from fruits and, IIRC, corpses if you follow him. [editline]03:24PM[/editline]
Let me ask you guys a few questions, I've heard about roguelikes, and I downloaded IVAN when the other roguelike thread was popular about a week ago. I just never got around to playing it. I want to know that, now that I have died twice and I have clicked get up instead of getting burried, that if I click to get burried I lose my character forever. I like sitting down and really working out a good character in a new game, collecting items and such, I've been robbed a few times and I like the idea of being able to lose some of your gold and items, but I don't want to have a perminate death and I don't want to lose everything I've worked on in my house. Edit: Don't know if this is contributing. In the first town, bartender in the pub had a different option than most people. " Call Back Ally " My dead little girl was in the list, so I'm assuming you can resurrect your allies. :D
As long as you click "Crawl up" after death, you won't lose your character. Yes, you can resurrect your allies, and they will still have their equipment with them. However, you lose "Impress" rating with them. How about sleeping? I find that the only way I can sleep is if I hit rest like eight or nine times...
Use a bed.
How about sleeping? I find that the only way I can sleep is if I hit rest like eight or nine times...
You get sleep when you're "sleepy", and is achieved by using a bed.
I can't "use" a bed. I walk on top of one, then hit rest six or seven times. Help?
Press Enter or Space. Then press enter on the bed object then he sleeps. Press enter to start the dream.
God dammit, I have like 12 spells from sleeping (when that wizard aciddently goes into your dream and gives you a spell) but I fail at casting all of them :( Oh well, my bow is pretty fucking powerful and I still have a crossbow I need to get identified.
Also for new players hit '?' for a bunch of helpful info.
Is there a way to scroll up in that chatbox thingy to see all the events that happen?
Is there a way to scroll up in that chatbox thingy to see all the events that happen?
'/' on numpad to see a bigger list, but i dont think you can scroll that.
So this old douchebag guy makes me go into a forest and kill a bunch of high leveled enemys, I hardly walk out with my life, and all I get is some gold, a platinum coin and a pair of fucking " Iron Gloves ". So I go to the mage dude, I'm all like " Sup, inspect these for me " so then I have " a cursed pair of conspicuous iron thick gauntlets " Are these Cheese balls trying to kill me after I do work for them?
You could uncurse them if they have good stats other than the curse. Besides, you don't have to do the quests.
I don't recommend doing "Hunting" quests. The enemies are usually crazy hard. Also it just gives you a random item, not their fault if it's cursed :P

If you add the extra races is it possible to change your characters appearance to look like, say a bear instead of a humanoid?
It isn't like the "cheese balls" know that they are cursed.
Well, why else would they get rid of them?
Well, why else would they get rid of them? Plus, how do I equip equipment? The menu randomly popped up on me once, but now that I have better gear, I want it to pop up. :G
Hit C and scroll to the right with 9 on your keypad.
Hit C and scroll to the right with 9 on your keypad.
Thanks a bunch. Some things that should be more obvious... well... aren't.
So I found a book called "Cat's Cradle" in a dungeon. I open it up: What the fuck...
Well if you ever find the one called "Don't read this" don't read it. I warned you. :ninja:
Well if you ever find the one called "Don't read this" don't read it. I warned you. :ninja:
I read it. I was like "k."
Hmm, I took a few hour break to go eat dinner and play some Orange Box, and now I'm itching to start playing this again.
This game is singleplayer correct? You can own a shop? What can you stock it with? What other kinds of things can you own?

Me and my pet little girl. I decided to make a pianist just for the hell of it. And I made my little girl look like a sexy pirate.
I accidentaly opend a bag of lost goods. I became a criminal thanks to that. The problem was i hired a gaurd for my house so every time i died the gaurd killed me.
Well after level 6 you'll gain 10 karma everytime a guard kills you. [editline]08:23AM[/editline] Oh and the guard is useless, unless you enjoy summoning monsters in your house.
Those pirates are the worst. "give us the money you just earned for that mission that was pissing annoying or we'll rape you up the arse and you'll have even less.
I found the best way to deal with the "rogues" on the street that sometime ambush you. They're like "give me your money" and I'm like "do something about it". Then I run away like a pussy. With all my gold :smug:
