I also hate it when you lose karma for just missing that deadline (the before it's too late quests are great for cash early on.)
The rogues are easy, just carry a teleport scroll and use it when you get ambushed. You should be able to easily escape after that.
Does anyone know how to unmount your pet?
use the ride skill and press space when it asks which direction

There are no "before its too late" missions.
I ran around in some sort of dungeon, found a machine gun, a bow and other shit but the vendor won't give me more than 1gp :(

You have to get items identified for them to be worth more. Either find a scroll or rod of identification or pay the mage 300 per item.

Holding onto the item for awhile can also identify it.
Don't bother picking up equipment unless you're looking for yourself. The cost to identify will always be more than the selling price, and holding onto it for a while will only give you some basic information like the type of material it's made of and the quality of its item, it is NOT a full identification. (unless you have high level sense quality, but being a beginner, you won't). What you should look for is spellbooks and scrolls, as some of these will fetch high prices. In particular, you should look for scrolls of oracle, which will sell at 1200 (without negotiation skill). You can partially identify them (enought to get a higher price) by reading them. But if you read an unknown scroll and it asks you to choose a target and lists your equipment, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR MAIN WEAPON/ARMOR. It is more than likely a scroll of curse.
I found a wand, but I didn't know what the fuck it did because I could cast it on enemies and it would do nothing, and I could cast it on friendlies, and it would do nothing.
So I get it identified, and it is a fucking rod of door creation. WHAT THE FUCK?!

You have this totally closed room full of goodies in a random dungeon. Instead of digging all over the place trying to enter, you can just cast a door at a wall and enter.
Can be good for making shortcuts through stuff too.

Has anyone else run into a major bug were you create a character and then right after the back story section that most just skip the game trys to load but crash's my whole comp and i need to restart? but if i do manage to get into the game then it will also crash my comp when i try to close the program. If anyone knows a fix can you please mention it.
the before it's too late missions are good (check the town board and use + and - on the numpad to scroll through)
You can get heaps of money just by walking from one twon to another.
And take shortcuts where possible. The enemies off the road are neglectably stronger than the ones on the road.

Do not sell the treasure map. Even though you could sell it for 1k, you could most likely find several thousand gp, an artifact, a platinum coin, and a few small medals (look them up on the wiki if you don't know). It's usually easy to locate where the treasure's located by looking at the world map [url=http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/elona/images/8/89/ElonaWorldMap.jpg]here[/url]. But if it's located deep in snow, don't even try. There's probably several locations it could be if the map only gives you one landmark, and traveling through snow is bound to fuck you up good.
I wish there was a mail slot to drop bills in. Last time I went to the embassy I found out I didn't have enough money to pay the bill, so I went to a dungeon to try to get some money, died, dropped the bill, had to grab some money, go back to the dungeon and get the bill, then go to the embassy and drop it off and then go back home.
Just drop the bills in your house if you need to get some money but don't want to risk losing them in a dungeon.

Also, is having a farm and ranch worth it? Meaning: Is it fun to have em?
Also, do you not get any special abilities? Like power slash or stuff like that? It's getting pretty boring. I'm level 8 and I still don't have any new skills, other than the annoying spam F key :x
You can get spells and feats. I can breath fire and poison people but haven't figured out how to use those...
Try pressing a, that opens the abilities menu.
A ranch might be worth it if you place it near derphy. A farm I don't know about at all, sorry.
As for the new avatar, I totally ripped it from some guy on SA :razz: I figured my old creepy man avatar was getting old... and creepy.
I can't even wish for a small castle :saddowns:
That wouldn't be a good idea in the first place. It has upkeep you know.
