You can get a wish by randomly drinking from wells, but it's extremely rare. There's also a cheat to do it, but I don't know how to do it.

Don't know PV yet.. I'm not a native english speaker so it's not that easy to find words that'd fit.
More DV means more dodging, more PV means more protection from attacks that do hit you.

Does anyone know a guaranteed way to get rid of sickness? I got a std or something from whoring myself out (:v:) and the wiki says there's no guaranteed way to get rid of it, but some of that info's from 1.14
Aw man, I started a new character and went to the cave where you find the scout. On level 2 there is this Orc captain and he slaughters my girl and me in a few turns. It's standing next to the stairs, what can I do :(

Actually, if you hang around in the graveyard, wait till they attack <whom dwells in vanity> that should clear it up quite nicely.
Or, if you lose your temper like me, use resetmap in the console (F12).
No it's much cooler to watch the map explode as the etherwind rolls in and dragons are summoned.

aaw this game is sooooooooooooo frustrating -.-
i got nearly 5k gold by doing the mainquest and going to palmia.
then there were 2 or 3 battles I could do nothing but die and i lost most of my stuff and I'm back to 1k gold.
I can't identify shit because most of the time i don't even have enough money for food and i never find any item that's worth more than 50gp, even if its identified so at best i make -250gp with an item.
the scrolls i find won't bring more.
i once had a spell book that gave 240 with the vendor, still far too few to even think of getting somewhere.
all quests are at least red, "before its too late" quests need to be done in 2-3days.
i don't understand, what can I do besides losing and cheating in this game?
ONLY do delivery and "I want it." quests at the beginning. Be wary of deadlines no matter what. Check which item the "I want it." quests need and either buy an item matching that value or check your inventory. Remember that their items can be masterwork or enchanted or whatever, so if they are too valuable, simply do another.
For food, buy traveler's food. You can only eat it in towns and in travels, not dungeons.
