The teleporting is because you're wearing a cursed item.
Not always, my Ether disease made me teleport randomly after I got caught in some Etherwind. I fucking hate Etherwind.
Etherwind has some pretty devestating (or godly) effects, depending on how you look at it. My performer, who has no fighting skills what so ever got cornered by a hermit crab in a dead end corridor. I had an etherwind mutation which gave me -18 speed +22 PV. Now this SOUNDS great, I almost never take damage, right? Yeah well, at the speed I was dishing out damage, the hermit crab was regenerating faster than I was giving it. I ended up starving to death in a corner because of a hermit crab.

Didn't have any on me, unfortunately! I tried drinking/throwing all my potions too.
So what do you think is the most newbie friendly class at first?
Warrior. Slash everything, don't wear shit you don't have identified. Don't stray too far from the exit in puppy cave/anywhere.
Who the fuck would want a cat or a dog, not to talk about a little girl when you can have a fucking bear?
Because the little girl can equip stuff.
Additional backpack? Handy. I'm still gonna go with the bear though.
Who would have a bear when you can use a stethoscope on the little girl and have her call you a pervert? :q:
On a second thought, I'll take the girl. :q:
And the bear sprite is stupid and ugly as shit. The sprite made me rage to no end. It looks so out of place...
She also hugs you when you let her talk again after telling her to shut up :3:
Wait is that what the stephoscope is for? I have one laying around my house. I wish this game had more obvious stats. I miss Final Fantasy's system where when you mouse over something it tells you how much better/worse something is then what you have equiped. [editline]09:35PM[/editline] Also Bear sucks. I don't even use him anymore and just go solo.
Use the stephoscope on your allies to get a life bar on them. You can then drop/sell/explode the stephoscope and the life bar will still be there.
Who the fuck would want a cat or a dog, not to talk about a little girl when you can have a fucking bear?
I took the dog, the cat almost never died for me but didn't do any real damage. The dog dies easily but it's good for keeping enemies at range, and actually does a bit of damage. Now the bear...I restarted just because it looked retarded. Crap...another question. How do I cure disease and who do I go to?
Which more useful? Hmmm :v:
Which more useful? Hmmm :v:
Sexy gives CHA, Hypnotism makes people sleep(Not sure if it always works) and sleeping people are easier for stealling, among other things(:q:).
I asked my little girl to marry me (she was 15, I was 17). She politely declined.
Just let her kill all the enemies, and give her some engagement rings/amulets. When you get married, you actually get a platinum coin and some gold and equipment. Plus you get to try for a gene
Now that I've fallen back into the pit of negative karma (it's -33 because I failed a VOLUNTARY quest?). How do I get out of it besides saving little sisters, which to me sounds like a rare event.
Do easy quests?
Huh? I can't even enter towns without getting one hitted by a guard.
Huh? I can't even enter towns without getting one hitted by a guard.
Finding corpses randomly in dungeons and searching them lowers karma... so maybe just dungeon crawl until you can find a corpse and then not search it? I don't really know much ways to raise karma. IT's mostly quests and random events.
Well for one, you only lose karma for a voluntary quest if the questgiver has something bad happen to them. If you were supposed to escort a sick person and they die, that's bad. If you fail to harvest their tomatoes, that's bad. You get the idea.
OOOH SHIT. -52. My character isn't a very physically strong person...and I've failed more quests than I've won so far in the farthest west town (no guards). I....jeez I thought THOSE ones only lowered fame.
How the fuck could you even reach such a low level, you have to be almost TRYING to get it that low.
I imagine he's taking escort/delivery/before it's too late quests and not even taking a glance at the deadlines. Like getting from Port Kapul to Palmia in three days.
How the fuck could you even reach such a low level, you have to be almost TRYING to get it that low.
Normally I would say I was trying to raise it but secretly to myself lower it. But this is not something I'm going "oh haha look how bad I am" This really ruins the game for me, and it will take a LONG time, if I even have the patience, to make this game playable again. I just lost my machine gun...if I don't find a new one I'm as useless as a peasant even with expensive melee weapons. The way it' so low is because I tried like 10 quests trying to accomplish them, without knowing they were way too hard for a lvl 4. So I failed all them, then succeeded in 2 escort quests. So that's -20 from the original -30. Now it's 50. [editline]YAY[/editline] Now it's -30 again...lucky me.
There's an awful lot to absorb in the beginning of this game. When I'm out of the tutorial cave, I have no idea what I should do. Should I buy things in town? Get a quest from the notice board? Get work from the townspeople? Dungeon crawl? Explore the wilderness? I went into the puppy cave and there was just sooooo much shit going on all at once, it was really overwhelming. I died after attacking a couple monsters.
