Bring up the z menu and then go to Rest, if there are no beds nearby. If there is a bed, walk over it and press t, then select the bed in the menu.

Yeah, the people in the bar kill near anyone that plays. On the other hand if you're a good performer/have an epic instrument you can perform there and get ~5k and nice items. It's what I do for cash.

I find that checking your drop menu ('d') is akin to checking your inventory. Near enough, anyway.

It's actually a skill, I think it's found through "gain_spact" and then going to the z menu and "Skills"
Be warned, it causes Aliens a la AVP

You either use them by the 't' key or press enter over them, can't remember.

Oh. I have gotten myself stuck in and endless loop of bad karma. I cannot visit any towns because the guards kill me. It seems crazy that you lose 20 karma for failing a delivery mission. I know it's so you don't take the item but stealing only takes 4 karma!
Anyhow, know how to get me out of this? I could do missions for outlaws...

There's a town without guards to the south, but it's a ways off the road in a forest. If you can find quests there you raise your karma, you'll be set.

If you've got 100k you can buy a potion of indulgence. Otherwise do quests at Derphy, rogue city.
Also go into moongates with >. Shift+.
Never go into moongates. Ever. I made the mistake 3 fucking times in a row, and got slaughtered each time by some jackass deciding to surround the entrance with dragons and shit. Never again. :argh:
What exactly are moongates? I mean, what purpose do they serve? And are they player generated? Does that mean this game is online?
Confused.
Moongates are areas uploaded by users. Most can't speak japanese, so only japanese players tend to upload them. Yes the game is connected to the server the moongates are on. It downloads them on startup, I think.
Moongates can help you a lot, and make great places for training. But sometimes you will get a moongate that is far too dangerous for you, like the one with a ton of dragons.
Great, I've now got a ring which teleports me every ten moves or so.
Now that I know to make my character sleep naked in this game to avoid Cursed Whispering, is there anywhere I can get my stuff uncursed?
