Can you store your money somewhere?
Yes, but it's very hard to do.
You need to find or buy a kitty bank. They come in 500 1000 10000 and more.
They allow you to deposit money when you use them. But the only way to get your money back is to smash them.
This game gives me the lols.

It saves on exit and whenever you go to a town/quest-related event/dungeon etc. It also saves when you get materials and when you wake up from having slept.
Also, tip for anyone constantly getting harassed by bandits or having curse dreams: Alt + F4.
That's what i do when i enter a moon gate that rapes me.
Some of the moongates are OK. Especially one which was just full of closed doors. Managed to get a good, free 2000 xp. :v:

I can only move forward and backward in the menu by using space and esc to go to the currently selected menu. Nothing else. Cannot go to options, cannot choose my race other than the first one on the list, pretty much nothing. It's annoying as hell.
Edit: I found out that I can move in the menu by keeping the left arrow down and pressing the right one.

I think I found the problem.
My joystick was leaning diagonally, which interfered with my controls. Works now :v:
