[XBOX 360]How many times have you gotten the red ring of death?

Ps3 people voting 9 or more to make us look bad.
Once for me, fixed myself.
Then upgraded to the MW2 console.
Got it since release and had 0.
Had one for 4 years, and it happened once because it was filled with dust.
Our other we have had for a year and hasn't Red Ringed yet.
Once, and I never sent it in to microsoft. I still had my best buy warranty up and I got a shiny new 360 with an HDMI port.
Had it almost 3 years and no red rings :buddy:
Never, but I've had 1 E74 error.
Never, even though I let it overheat overnight once
Twice, broke on the second time.
Never getting anything with Microsoft and console combined.
Never.
I have had it since 2007 Christmas.
2 but thats only because the power cable was not fully inserted.
I've never had an Xbox 360 so I've never got the RROD. However, I had two roommates who both had 360s and both of theirs died within a week of each other. The first happened while my roommate was playing Fable II. The next day I wanted to play some Fallout 3 so I borrowed the second 360 from my other roommate and hooked it up using the same ac adapter as the one that died the day before, and again I got the RROD. I figured that it was too big of a coincidence for both to have died just hours apart, so i grabbed the other ac adapter, hooked it up and it worked fine. Out of curiosity I tried hooking up the first 360, it also worked, turned out it was just a faulty ac adapter. At this point I had to go to work, and my roommate who owned the first 360 was still at class, so I figured that I would let him know later that night.
Fast forward nine hours I walk into our living room and see my roommate huddled over the remains of his 360, with a screwdriver in his mouth, and pair of metal shears in his hand, cutting apart his 360 in a most gruesome manner. When I asked what he was doing he told me he had to return Fable II to Blockbuster. Once I told him that he had probably just utterly destroyed a perfectly good 360, he just leaned back and said, "balls." After we both looked at the damage we decided to see if it still worked, which it did, kinda. It couldn't play any discs, but it could still play games or demos on the hard drive.
Two or three days later the second roommates' 360 actually did RROD.
I owned my 360 for about a year (no RROD), but then I sold it because I realized pc gaming was better. But I just talked to the kid I sold it too a couple days ago and he told me it got a RROD :v:
I like how the listings drop off as the numbers get higher, but 9+ has 15 votes compared to 8's 0. Definitely not any angry PS3 fanboys voting here. :smug:
My first 360 lasted from launch, stayed alive for two years, and eleven months, finally got the RROD.
Once, got it fixed for free, then my brother spilled coke on it. Now I have an Elite.
I spilled some Cola on mine last night, now I'm worried :/
My 2nd, i don't know what you guys are talking about, when you get the 3 red rings they repair it for free (at least for me, my warranty expired but they still repaired it for free)
If you count all the times ive "repaired" it, played for 10 mins then it died again, about 30

I have had one Red light faliure. 2 weeks after my waranty was up, so i had to send it to microsoft, they said it would take a month. So fukk it, i just bought another one. My only other altenrative was a PS3, i'd rather drown myself in my own piss.
However i also had a totally unrelated X-Box faliure in the next console. GAME refused to replace it even though i had a reciept and extended warantee. I gave the X-Box to my girlfriend who entered GAME and asked to have it replaced wearing a low cut top and flirting.
BAM !!
New X-Box that minute. They didnt even plug it in to check it. Bastards. "Its a mans world"... FUCK OFF !!!
Wish i had big tits. (Read; bigger tits)
Once, but that was because the HDMI cable had disconnected from the TV.
Three red rings involves overheating problems, and usually that can only involve letting the thing cook overnight or taking on frequent, extensive gaming sessions. Since the 360's hardware is a bit more delicate and susceptible to heat, treat it like your computer: Would you leave your computer on overnight as it takes on a full processing/gaming load? I think not, something's gonna fry.
After 4 or 5 years, cannot remember. I had the original xbox 360 since the day it came out, finally got my first ever red ring of death a month ago. This xbox has been dropped, tipped over, and kicked plenty of times.
So i got a new one, red ringed within the first week. How BS is that.
3 times.. but no more.. i have a ps3 now instead :smug:
Once, and it was a fatal RROD. As a result, Microsoft ever-so-kindly sent me an entirely new one, and no more problems have been experienced with the console.

1st time mother board fried playing gta 4 16 hours straight
2-3 time RROD
4th screen went purple and green lol
