Played on 2b2t and I had connection problems while I was in Nether... Then I logged in and found myself on bedrock, on top of Nether... [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/2011-12-28_22.42_.50_.png[/img_thumb]
This has happened to me four times, the first three happened while travelling the X-Line to my base, the last one was a week or two again when returning to spawn. Talk to Housemaster on Steam, he'll teleport you to spawn/your base. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline]
Here's something else in minecraft that pisses me off: Fucking. Pigmen. I was on a server (alone, natch) and decided to go to the nether base and explore. I found a pigman above a small crevice and accidentally tapped him, once, with a shovel. Then he and a million other pigmen swarm over me, push me into the crevice, and kill me. I went like 40 fucking times into the cavern they were in, and half my items despawned before I was able to get to them, including the Enchanted Iron Sword my friend gave me and the iron ore I'd mined. Seriously, what the fuck? Pigmen should stop attacking you at some point. edit: If I seem a bit angry in this post, it's because, naturally, I am. This just happened.
Pigmen are wild XP farms.
The fact that you can't take care of a Pigmen swarm after "40 fucking times" is really boggling.
Well, I lost all my stuff when they killed me, and I was trying to avoid enraging more of them (although, in retrospect, it probably would have been better to just kill them slowly)
Well, I lost all my stuff when they killed me, and I was trying to avoid enraging more of them (although, in retrospect, it probably would have been better to just kill them slowly)
What I personally like to do before getting into the Nether is get the highest armor I can, Iron being the occasional one. I then bring a door with me and mine myself a bunker like structure around the nether portal I walk out of so in-case I get swarmed I can just use my weapons, mostly preferred the bow and arrows. Or, since the AI is very simple (and terrible at times), I use hills or place 2 blocks infront of pigmen, since they react like zombies and creepers (become blocked, don't jump or move around it).
I love pigmen. Going out on a pigmen murdering rampage is fun and kind of hard. AND SO MUCH GOLD
Installing a mod, thinking something's wrong or incompatible because of black screens. Because I Forgot to delete Meta-INF

I used MCedit to build a 5-block long pigmen spawner, and have them funnel into a hole that drops them just far enough to ALMOST kill them. Hello, XP farm. :)
When I let my 5 year old daughter play .................... I cant play it anymore cause she wont let me
I hate playing online and little kids won't shut up, even after i kick them and they come back :words::words:
IPBAN, your best friend
I hate when you join a new server at night. Basically: AHH IT'S NIGHT OH CRAP A CREEPER AHH SKELETONS ooh, sheep AHH A ZOMBIE
Not exactly minecraft, but god damn it bukkit why don't your permissions work properly.
If you're going to be cheating, you might as well just use TMI or invedit.
I mostly play creative because I do pixel art and build houses with railways. I don't play survival. I use MCedit to build large walls and flat spaces quickly, and use TMI to keep daylight in my map and the rain off.
I had this awesome house and like a 20 minute walk away from my spawn because it was a spot i was looking for and i made a nether portal and was walking when it lagged and i ended up in lava. I never saw that house again.

Maybe the very high memory usage has to do with the java version, try installing 32bit java and uninstalling the 64bit one, even if your os is 64 bit. I had the same issue on another java game, I left it on for hours and it used 2.7gb from 4gb ram. I went 32 bit java and now it stays around 600mb.

I get pissed when I build a giant TNT cannon and only half of it goes off!
My creative mode save crashed while in game, and it won't load up now. It had a laundromat, a replica of Punk Noodles from Grand Theft Auto III, and a rail system linking together two natural spawned villages. It was the first time I've ever played creative just to build something.
I press E instead of escape to pause the game and when I come back I am dead. Especially on hardcore mode. If your world is corrupted, open it up on mcedit, and move your player a fairly long way away from where you were at when it got corrupted. This will uncorrupt it. I've done this numerous times.
I remember pre-alpha, when you placed a block of sand over water, the water would rise to that level, flooding the entire map. And of course there were no sponges. So eventually you got bored and recreated Waterworld.

I hate it when you fall off a ladder and fall to your death.
something that is almost 80% wood and wool refuses to burn down when your trying to take some screenshots ,but when you want to make a fireplace there is no putting it out.
I hate it when you fall off a ladder and fall to your death.
I hate that the ladders slip and slide you left and right, as if you were climbing an icy ladder. I want ladders with GRIP, like in Half-Life 2.
This is all my fault, but I hate it when I'm digging down and I fall into lava. I was carrying several build craft gears! FUCK
something that is almost 80% wood and wool refuses to burn down when your trying to take some screenshots ,but when you want to make a fireplace there is no putting it out.
You are Fireplacing wrong then. And using the wire fence (metal bars?) helps weep the fire contained without losing any light.
Building a house for my little brother, and making the roof out of TNT... Tears.
I made a secret mountainside base with a piston door. It had no windows or anything so I'd peek my head out to see what the time of day was since I didn't have a watch yet. Turns out it was a thunderstorm, and 2 supercharged creepers were waiting for me right at the door. They creeped on into my base, I killed one, but the other decided to detonate. I had a chest next to the door with all my resources. Turns out a fucking lake of lava was just under my floor. I've never had a secret base since. I hate when I'm building a nice house, predominantly out of wood. I am working out the kinks with the White List, so I come on and see that someone connected and burned down my house.
