I've never gotten past the first part. I'd give you my fresh memories if I could <3 Perhaps I should try playing it again sometime.
You can open a trade window with Control+T.
Can't bring yourself to play FO3 again because you know everything? Play New Vegas.
You missed the point, didn't you?
Can't bring yourself to play FO3 again because you know everything? Play New Vegas.
I spent more time playing Fallout 3 than New Vegas for some reason. I liked FO3 more, actually it was probably because of the DLC. When New Vegas gets DLC it'll be so fun
Uh, you missed my point. New games come out, but old ones are no longer interesting to me. I've played and completed GTA IV.
Then make something new. :)
my sister says smoking weed and playing games feels like playing a new game
I'd basically need a new body to play Ocarina of Time. Goddamn muscle memory.
I would love to play Metal Gear Solid again without knowing the story. Shit was so cash.
I want to live my life again. Screw video games, there will be more and more, always more. And there is only one life.
I want to replay Red Dead Redemption without knowing all of the spoilers.
I want to start Red Dead Redemption without knowing all of the spoilers.
I don't really have a problem with playing through games again. I guess it's because a lot of times I try playing it a different way or something. Though I will admit, I skip cutscenes quite often.....especially on MGS4. Sometimes I watch them, but most of the time I don't. I really just enjoy playing haha. Not saying the story is bad, but since they have a sort of slow pace to them, I get impatient and just wanna play. I for one kinda enjoy knowing things. I don't know why. I guess it's the experience that I enjoy, nevermind discovering things (fun obviously, but isn't the only way a game can be fun).

I would give anything to play Mass Effect again without any memories of it.
I want this to happen VERY often. Playing Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy for the first time. The Metal Gear Series. Monkey Island Series. God Hand. There are tons of things I want to forget about just to fully enjoy them again. I remember crying at the end of MGS3. Not because it was sad, just because it was over. I miss the old days :saddowns:
-snip-
I'd love to play morrowind, oblivion and fallout without any of the memories all over again I remember the awe I had when I first stepped out of the sewers in oblivion good times, good times
Oh god, Driver 1 on my PS1. All the memories. I want to explore the city again and make those awesome car chases with the cool 70's music in the backround! :saddowns:
Sorry for making you all sad and nostalgic :saddowns:
Only way to get close to the feeling of playing a game for the first time again is to not touch a game for an entire decade, then you can go back to it and realise just how much you don't remember.
I wish I had played Persona 4 for myself without watching GiantBomb's Endurance Run, as awesome as it is.
Let's not forget hearing 'Still Alive' for the first time in Portal
Let's not forget hearing 'Still Alive' for the first time in Portal
What about the month of recitals that drowned the internet?
I remember the time when I first saw the commercials of the first Call of Duty on TV. The game looked a little bit stupid at first but then my dad bought it and I played it. I was blown away. Wish I could experience that feeling again.
It's at times like this you marvel at the simplistic genius of Notch, infinite replayability through randomisations, not 30 minute long DLCs...
This is why I bought a PS2 and am going to buy a bunch of games I never got to play, just to experience the awesomeness.
Man, the first time I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R.:SoC, I got hooked just exploring Cordon for weeks.
I can agree with this. I haven't played Oblivion for maybe a year now, yet I could go back and remember exactly what will where, and when, and how. I wish I could "un-play" a game. go back to when I first played it, how exciting it was exploring, fighting, getting scared, and loving the loot you discover, and occasionally having a good laugh at secrets and easter eggs. When it comes to RPG's, the best thing to do, is play as someone you never play as. I'll use Oblivion for an example. I always played as an Imperial, and went with the sword & shield tactic. that got old, quickly. So I made a Wood Elf, and focused on ranged combat. Just that simple switch made the game fun again. for a bit... then Oblivion's flaws became apparent far too many times.
I miss hearing this while exploring in Oblivion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2FtDqkxXcc&feature=related

I'm lucky, I have bad memory and sometimes forget things in games. Not lucky on TF2 though, fucking spys. I don't have short term memory, I just forget some things.
The original Unreal Tournament is a game I want to play again without knowing anything about it. It's the best deathmatch game ever in my opinion - shame it has lost its touch over the years.
