It sucks the most when it's on a mod that isn't very popular so there might only be one server up.
I agree. It's as stupid as fuck.
There are going to be people who don't know the rule anyway, so there is going to be cursing. Then the admin has to lecture everybody about it, and pretend like people actually read the rules before playing.
Don't ask me. I went to a server, I think it was eGO, and I said crap over the mic and they threatened to kick me if I kept using profanity.
So I quoted this.

Crap and damn are allowed, actually.
That's still not as bad as abusive admins though. Once I was playing on a zombie escape server and some guy kept talking goading another player into saying the N word for about half an hour, only to change his name back to his regular admin name and ban that player.
you guys are all stupid, read the fine print. It say's "Online Interactions Not Rated By the USRB"
What about the admin who decides to log into a game of cs:s after being at work all day to support his family.
Then his child enters the room and starts hearing people screaming profanities at the top of their lungs.
That is a pretty good reason why some admins make a rule against swearing.
Protip: The kid is going to learn the fucking words in school anyway.
I mean seriously, why does profanity matter? Cussing isn't going to make the kid grow up to be a serial killer. Sheltering your children from the world does not help them.
I agree with what was said in the video, next time we see little kids, lets vow to tell them about sex, drugs, and atheism!
Then don't play on the server. Find one that lets you swear.
Gee, I wish there was a "track who rated" feature so I can call the 7 people who rated this guy dumb dumb themselfs. Really. Stop being stupid, he's right. Learn to disconnect and find a new server. No seriously, if you're gonna whine about a fucking server stop making threads over and over, and when some guy disagrees with you there is no need to say that they are dumb. That's called being a douchebag.
oh god I'm a hypocrit
you guys are all stupid, read the fine print. It say's "Online Interactions Not Rated By the USRB"
Most intelligent people know that's because it can only get worse online
The stupidest thing is that there's censoring plugins. Instead of bitching at every person that swears why not just use that?
Most intelligent people know that's because it can only get worse online
That's pretty much what it means.
Mario Kart is rated E, but when you go online shit gets serious. Drugs and sex everywhere.
I hate how I can't put in a word like dick on my "file share" in halo 3 even though it's rated M and in the campaign there are swears
I find it sort of funny if say, the voice commands swear, or the game is extremely violent/gory.
Yes, Little Jimmy can see gore and blood, and have heads explode, but god forbid he hears the word fuck
If they have those for chat I just pull out my good old mic.
Then I yell as many swear words as I can.
there turning it into a t-rated game that sucks the fun out of it for for the older players
If they have those for chat I just pull out my good old mic.

I do that too. Or just have a swearing fit at the admins. A good rant always gets the job done.
I fucking hate in Metal Gear Online you can't say "kill" even though it's written throughout the settings.
I fucking hate in Metal Gear Online you can't say "kill" even though it's written throughout the settings.
You have to be fucking kidding me
What about the admin who decides to log into a game of cs:s after being at work all day to support his family.

Oh god he might hear words that he hears every day! Jesus fucking christ call the profanity police and ban this sick filth from hurting our poor childrens ears.
Ugh, the kids are going to hear profanity in their schools and in public places sooner or later. Hell, I bet 99.99% of the kids already know what fuck is.
If I want to protect the children from hearing harsh language, then I would lock them in a basement forever without any communication to the outside world.
I also hate eGO servers, once you make up a perfect explanation and argument, then they come up with the only thing people would ever use, "If you don't like it, leave."
There's a fix for that, don't go to those servers. They're run by deranged lunatics anyway.
Honestly, who allows virtual killing, but not swearing?!
I swear all the fucking time. Luckily I only play on Australian servers.
I swear all the fucking time. Luckily I only play on Australian servers.
Wanker.
Oh, whenever I curse in eGO servers, I say it in the German language.
It's like censoring pornography because children can see it on the internet.
In before response of

That was fucking amazing.
In all honesty though, if the admin bans people for swearing, then it's probably not gonna be a very good server. Best to just leave.
So they tell you not to swear and you go though all the trouble of typing F-U-C-K. Sound a bit immature to me
I got banned from a server for swearing, they didn't even have a warning for it, instaban >:C
I got banned from a server for swearing, they didn't even have a warning for it, instaban >:C
That's just pathetic for a server. Don't tell me that ban was permanent.
you guys are all stupid, read the fine print. It say's "Online Interactions Not Rated By the USRB"
That doesn't mean it's not an M rated game, it's just there to say that the ESRB can't rate what other people do, that way if little Jimmy boots up a game rated teen for mild comic violence or something and when he gets online everyone is cursing, spraying porn and urinating on small animals his parents can't turn around and sue the ESRB for not warning them.
It is their server. They pay for it, you don't. Follow your rules or leave, it isn't very hard.
