^ You're an idiot, shut up.
Case closed.

I don't fell like arguing with your idiocy again.
One day you might open your mind. You get nothing out of closing your ears and calling the other person an idiot.
Admins can actually make the game E rated with plug-ins anyways, so it doesn't matter. They do their own shit.
that doesn't change the fact that, in order to buy the game, legally, you need to be of the age printed on the case/box.
Yeah. It's ridiculous. One time I even got kicked for swearing on a CS server, came back and asked why. He said this is a Christian family server..yeah that makes a lot of sense. A game about shooting other people in the head and blowing stuff up, on a christian family server..k.
It's their servers, true, but it still doesn't make any sense.
Most children can not see the difference between fantasy violence and real life violence.
What the fuck is cussing gonna do? Nothing.
i don't know about you and your childhood, but myself and everyone else i know and knew when i was younger knew fiction from nonfiction. unless you're talking about 5 years and younger, who can't even really play games very well with a controller to begin with. which would be pointless to even bring up. there are some kids who can't see the line, yes, but i wouldn't ever think to say "most kids".
[editline]09:40AM[/editline]
in fact, swearing, really, shouldn't be something banned in any online games that say "Experience may change during online play" or whatever it says. they put that there solely because of people cussing online.

People die all the time in the bible.
Regardless, that doesn't matter, as the game is fantasy, the voicechat from other players is not.
Difference: I had to pay for a bus ticket; I don't have to pay to go to a server.
actually you do pay to go to the server. you buy the game. if it's on 360, you buy the game and you pay for LIVE. if it's an MMO, you buy the game and/or pay the monthly fee.

I started playing video games when I was 2, though I could tell the difference between fantasy and reality. It still doesn't stop the fact that some kids can't determine the two and end up doing something stupid.

Just because the bible says killing is alright means it's OK? :downs:
Seriously, this is why people are idiots, because religion brainwashes them.

Very few.
We shouldn't get rid of stoves because some kids don't know that they burn you. You are saying we should change the rules to accommodate for a .00001%
It's cute that you can respond to other comments, but not to mine. You really need to get over the fact that you will eventually be wrong in an argument.

I have it on PC.
I didn't pay the server owners, I payed Valve for the game. Every server out there is free entertainment.

Oh dear, you didn't catch the point at all. I said that christian servers are fine with fantasy violence, because it is fantasy. I can also see how they are fine with it, because their religous text openly condone it.
You need to learn to respect opinions.
Do you really have to cuss? It's annoying, to me. I just don't like it, Idk why.

Is that because the stuff in the Bible is also fantasy? :v:

I didn't see that, and that isn't the majority of my post. I'm not being a smartass either. Just because you responded to a small portion of a different post doesn't mean you addressed any of my points.

Whatever your opinion is.
Whatever your opinion is.
So let me get this straight.
Because The Bible condones violence, they are OK with it right? So therefore they are letting a book make decisions for them. If The Bible condoned swearing then they would be OK with swearing correct?

You know, killing isn't always wrong. When killing a minority to save a majority, it can be endorsed. No christians I know get their morals from the bible, they get them before they even open the bible. Some morals are instinctual.

i said that some kids can't tell the difference. my point was that most kids actually can tell the difference, so to say that most kids can't tell the difference is asinine.

If killing isn't wrong then swearing shouldn't be either. And you may know Christians who don't get the morals from the Bible but there are Christians who do. And I don't think there's anything in the Bible that says it's wrong to use swear words. I know there's the, "Do not use God's name in vain," bullshit. But where does it say swearing in the bible is wrong? And why do people get upset over WORDS?
And like I stated before, they are words, they mean absolutely nothing. They have no power unless you give them power. Classifying some words as swear words is also ridiculous.

Why can't you understand this? It's like you don't even read my posts.
I never said that any type of killing was okay. I said that killing can sometimes be justified. THAT DOESN'T MATTER THOUGH, BECAUSE KILLING IN GAMES IS FANTASY, AND VOICECHAT IS NOT, YOU WILL REPEAT WHAT YOU HEAR. (Capitalized it because I have said it three plus times.)
Anyone who claims that they got their morals only from the bible are pulling your leg. And even if they do, it doesn't matter. It's their servers, and you need to follow their rules. It doesn't matter that swearing isn't against the bible, it only matters that they have the opinion that you shouldn't swear, and if you want to be on their servers you will not swear.
And as I stated before, swearing makes you sound like a backwoods hick if used constantly. If you don't know proper vocabulary, you sound like an idiot. They are frowned apon in society, and that is all that is needed for them to be banned if they so choose.
i'm not supporting killing, because that is fantasy in videogames, all I am supporting is their right to own a server and to go by the rules from which they want to play
