Most Overrated Games? - Games

How could I forget, most of soccer games in the last decade. PES, FIFA you name it. Fifa 08 was the first one I saw really making progress, but the rest... Same crap every year, and every year "IT WILL CHANGE SOCCER GAMING FOREVER!"

Final Fantasy series. Yes. The whole series.

Minecraft. [sp]/sarcasm[/sp] Ocarina of Time, very slightly. It was great, but I think Majora's Mask deserved a little more attention. Sports games, ALL OF THEM. Go get some friends and play a sport. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Brought nothing new to the table other than a few game modes and kill streaks. Trust me, the world can go on with out the kill streaks. Halo 3, you all know that already though.

At launch it was a revolution in FPS storytelling due to the amazing precision of FacePoser combined with decent AI and Voice Acting. Left 4 Dead series. There's zombies. And you get to kill them. And there's multiplayer. And it's always the same damn thing, every single game. It's completely linear. You could argue that there are different ways to get to the end, but only 1-2 per level. Some people say they love it because of the zombie killing. Go play Dead Rising 2. Now that's fun zombie-slaughter.

Red Dead Redemption. GTA IV in the "wild west", which is basically a bunch of fucking desert. I preferred GTA IV.

I didn't like the sense of isolation in Red Dead. GTA IV was, as silly as it sounds, more comforting because there was always people around and things happening.
