Gotta love GOTY editions especially on the consoles.
Morrowind :smug:
But you can buy it in increments of 400 ms points in the Zune store :downs:
Well that is good to know...There I was wasting money away on points I don't need. I have only ever used GFWL just for getting FO3 DLC. So it was literally...buy 1000 points, spend 800, buy 1000 points, spend 800...rinse and repeat. My only solace is that now I have exactly 800 points leftover (from buying 3 expansion packs) to buy the new Mothership Zeta DLC
Oblivion because of this: You have 3 choices. Pay the court a fine, serve your sentance or reisist arrest.
The only reason I didn't buy Fallout 3 yet is because i was waiting for the GOTY edition. That said, you should pick up the GOTY edition for Oblivion and wait a couple months for F3 GOTY. Or you can pick up Morrowind because it's FUCKING AWESOME.
Decide for yourself which setting you like more. Personally I'd go with Fallout 3 just because post-apocalyptic rocks. But both are extremely good games, both have scores of mods that will expand and refresh the game, making either a very good investment.

Anyways if you're too much of a pussy to buy Morrowind then go for Oblivion. Fallout 3 feels a bit dry and gets boring fast IMO. Not to mention it's terribly unstable.
buy both goddamit.. that's what I do.. if I can't chose I just buy both. oblivion is'ent that much..
Lets put it this way If Oblivion cost 100$ or more and FO3 cost 10$ I would get Oblivion as its just plain better.

Oblivion. Mainly because my computer is better for it. Runs like a dream on high detail, but FO3 is incredibly jittery at best on the lowest settings. Also because Oblivion is just purely better. The Dark Brotherhood questline is one of the best questlines i've ever played. There's also that scary quest somewhere in the mountains...
Shivering isles to Oblivion is what Broken steel does to Fallout 3. BS advantages : New armor New weapons Quest CONTINUES! More quests liberty prime dies more shit
While Fallout 3 does have a small modding community, Oblivion's is infinitely better.
