Minesweeper
I tried it when I was younger, randomly pressed squares, never won. I was bored last summer, so I played it again for the first time in years and I finally figured out what you even do. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] Everyone should have played spider-man 2 [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] even the first one.
age of empires 2

Croc 1 & 2, to show everyone why you shouldn't turn a game into something that not even masochists can handle.
B17 Bomber.
Deus Ex Edit:
for example- deus ex,
Ninja'd By Op because I didn't read.
F.E.A.R. (The first one, not the 2nd)
F.E.A.R. (The first one, not the 2nd)
or at bare minimum FEAR Combat (Definietely not know for it's scariness but it's one of the only games I play where people don't always (note I said don't always instead of never) use shitty tactics like sprint knifing.
Superman 64.
Starcraft: Brood War
minesweeper
Deus Ex - To see what the pinnacle of gaming looks like.
I don't get it, every guy and his dog calls Deux Ex the BEST GAME EVAR but the next game they released (Thief: The Dark Project) was a far better game and no one ever mentions it. Also: -Battlefield 1942 -Starsiege: Tribes -Planescape: Torment -Dawn of War -Mount & Blade Warband
Superman 64.
this game pissed me off so much

Team Fortress Classic Half-Life Doom Medal of Honor: Allied Assault I'm speaking from the fun memories I had from way back when they came out and the multi-player experiences, maybe not doom though but that was still a long time ago. Oh and Battlefield 1942
Minecraft.

I have to agree on Mass Effect 1 and 2. I'm not the kind of person that gets all hyped up with recently played games and goes that far to call it the best game ever. But this game is an exception, Mass Effect is a very recent masterpiece that deserves a spot with the best games out there.
Driver and the old MoH series.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Half-life series, Knights of the Old Republic...
Halo: Combat Evolved. It had an atmosphere that succeeded where the rest of the series would fall short.
I think everyone should try some of the SCUM games. Many of them are really well done. I'm talking about the Monkey Island series, Indiana Jones and of course Beneath a Steel Sky.
Soul Reaver MGS1 Shadow Of The Colossus Oblivion Ocarina of Time
Deus ex Mirror's edge Most black isle games The old fallouts Starcraft Total annihilation Clive barker's jericho - if only to see how you can make extremely well done characters, albeit cliched. The game itself is more of a love hate kind of thing.
