YES chrono trigger, just finished it today actually. OH god how much fun it was.
Another one if you like snes games is Bahamut lagoon, it's more like final fantasy tactics and really good storyline and (over 40 hours) gameplay.
Worms Armageddon, fucking great times.

I think the Golden Axe and Streets of Rage series are probably about equal. I don't think Golden Axe 2 was all that cool, but the first and third were great.
