Chrono Trigger - One of the few true RPGs that I've played obsessively. It's an awesome game.
YES chrono trigger, just finished it today actually. OH god how much fun it was. Another one if you like snes games is Bahamut lagoon, it's more like final fantasy tactics and really good storyline and (over 40 hours) gameplay.
Worms Armageddon, fucking great times.
So's Golden Axe, except it's more action adventury than beat em up.
It was more of a hack and slash to be honest. Gilius' beard is worth a honourable mention though.
Halo 3 and Gears Of War.
Those games are not classic, they're horrid. Huge difference.
It was more of a hack and slash to be honest. Gilius' beard is worth a honourable mention though.
I think the Golden Axe and Streets of Rage series are probably about equal. I don't think Golden Axe 2 was all that cool, but the first and third were great.
Those games are not classic, they're horrid. Huge difference.
No, they aren't, I'm guessing you're one of those "All current gen video games suck" band wagon'ers eh? But I still disagree with that guy's post because those games aren't classic in the context of the thread topic. Also, Casltevania 1, 3 and 4, I can't believe nobody mentioned those.
Blast Corps SM64 Best game ever. At least the explosion, music, and funny levels are. Memories... It's a good thing.

Oh man, I haven't played even half of the games mentioned here. I'd say the Commander Keen games are classic. Except Keen Dreams, which sucks ass.
