It's really unique... it's one part tower defense, and one part shooter. You can man your towers, use a sniper rifle, and pilot planes and tanks. It's definitely got a tower defense core, but it builds off it to fantastic effect.
If I still had my xbox connected to live I would buy this

Howitzers have increased damage/range but slower load time as they go up. Machine guns have increased damage, with the level 3 MG being able to damage vehicles. Actually level 2 and 3 MGs are really cannons that shoot fast. AA guns go from a maxim variant that shoots 1lb shells to a truck mounted flak cannon that shoots slower but is more powerful.

I'm totally going to see about getting wireless for xbox on the way home if I can, just so I can get this. It looks awesome, was watching it for a bit before it came out, but now that it is I can finally blow stuff up! Can't wait to take control of the machineguns!
The Maxim gun feels too weak and too accurate, but the 37mm autocannon is amazing.
Best weapon in my opinion is the level 2 howitzer though, Fire a shell and use the shell cam to steer the shell right in their faces. :c00l:
I tried having 2 level 3 MGs in front and 2 mortars in back (demo), with 1 howitzer and a anti-aircraft.

Spam howitzers, each large square should have a howitzer on it. Your goal is to try to have at least four level 2 howitzers facing towards the Tsar Tank. Keep one level 2 anti-infantry turret to deal with the soldiers it'll deploy.
That's what worked for me. :v:
Yeah just give every big square a fully upgraded howitzer and then start shelling it manually early. Spam barbed wire around your toy box to keep out the infantry and put a machine gun and chem weapon right near the entrance.
Well, I failed two times against the Tsar. The last time was just in front of the box and had nearly died. But he managed to kill my box.
