I have Advance Wars and the second one.
I just finished the second one though.

Also, is there a game with this style in other plataforms that are not Nintendo?
I still have the original Advance Wars, too.
I love this series. Most of the time, strategy games just don't tickle my fancy, but I really loved these little gems.
The one thing that's bothered me is the choice to make Days of Ruin all dark and angsty. Seriously, one of the reasons I like the series was it's bright attitude!
...Of course, Days of Ruin did give Intelligent Systems a reason to get rid of "1337SP33K" Jake. Who I, along with everyone else, hated.

In near mint condition.

Remember that epic map editor glitch?
You were able to edit campaign maps with it just for kicks :D

WTFTFFT!
I have this game!! :O
But i havent played it for ages. DX
I'm going to update op bit by bit. Where should I start?
My friend told me to get this game and we played it. It's fun. I'm not used to all the units yet though...
Advance wars 2 is the best.
I have all the games for GBA and Dual Strike for DS. I could never actually complete them. They were all too hard. :(

No.

Talk about COs?
I played over 200 hours in Advance Wars 2, getting pretty much everything. I enjoyed the Dual Strike campaign, although the unit list was getting a bit crowded. AW Dark Conflict was nice too, bit more back to basic.
The AW series are incredibly addicting. There was some PC recreation by fans (called Custom Wars or something) written in Java, but it stranded (it's alive-ish, just going veeery slowly).
Guys stop calling it Advanced wars :/
I loved this game, I have all of them but the new ones aren't as good. I miss my old Eagle & Sami HQ capture and Sturm.

I've spent 321 Hours on Dual strike alone and I still only have 257/300 medals :v:
I thought the old GBA ones recorded hours too, apparently not? :raise: or at least I can't find it.
play advanced wars and some german guy is gonna come over and murder you
I'm playing Advance Wars 2 at the moment. It is very fun, I'm at the Green Earth-campaign at the moment.
Might be old, but;
I have noticed how much black hole-symbol resembles a swastica ( or a manji, but in military purposes must likely swastica. )

Also, before Advance wars there were Super Famicon wars and Game boy wars.
ah, good old advance wars.
I played the first one a month or two after it came ou, thought it was great, and bought every one that came out after eading up to days of ruin, well Dark Confilct as the one in Aus is called.
But strange thing, I've always had a massiv eamount of trouble in the last mssion of each game, failed 20 times, then came back a week later only to get it first try. I managed to finish Dark Conflict's final mission in 8 days, I shit you not.
