Have Doug follow you around, as a conpanion maybe, like the Adoring Fan from Oblivion. Spouting random shit. Maybe have GD and In The News! be big cities? If so, Big Dumb American has to be supreme ruler of GD. As another little giggle maybe have Shenanigensan (did I spell that right?) on the outskirts of GD, crying about how he was kicked out. :c

Ratings as items
Agree - Increases attack/defense of a party member for a turn or so
Disagree - Lowers enemy attack/defense
Funny - Lowers enemy attack, raises team defense
Winner Medal - Raises party attack and defense greatly, heals some too
Zing - Does damage to enemy without using a turn
Informative - Deal more damage to a type of enemy for the battle
Friendly - Heal
Useful - Raises team attack
Optimistic - Raises attack, but lowers defense (a lot for both)
Artistic - Raises team defense
Late - Enemy loses a turn
Dumb - Does damage to enemy, lowers their defense
Have a photograph of a shock image. When used, the enemy gets a status effect which hurts him every turn, kind of like poison.
The final boss is TH86 or Garry.
Better idea:
Final boss is Garry, but it's actually like a Japanese RPG where it has a second form. This second form is, of course:
Firerain
Rough storyline:
The player awakens in the once active General Discussion, with the smoldering remains of the industrial district In The News up ahead. He doesn't know where he came from, but from all of the locked topics and banned users he might have just been stunned in an attack by spammers. In the beginning the player finds the Bow of Report, which he will use widely throughout his journeys in Facepunch. The player will have the choice to either go to In The News and examine the extent of the damage or go into the forest of Film and Television and cross into the eight-segment industrial city of Hardware and Software. Hardware and Software is an unlikely target to the spammers, so it is safe to assume it will be peaceful there. The player will eventually journey through the calm Film and Television forest, fighting off the occasional pack of Bad TV Shows, and then to the Hardware and Software city where they can find out what happened to General Discussion. It turns out that banned exiles from the far off island of the Refugee Camp have escaped and stolen proxy boats. The first place they landed was the port city of General Discussion, a common target for spammers. The spammers had apparently passed through Hardware and Software at night when nobody was out and then ventured off on the road to Fast Threads, where they are now stationed. Fast Threads is a bustling city filled with crime. The player then goes to Fast Threads to exact his revenge on the spammers that left General Discussion in ruins. He must then go through various disgusting Fast Thread topics, defeating the spammers with his Bow of Report. Eventually he catches the leader of the spammers observing pictures in the LMAO Bar, and a boss fight ensues, with the leader of the spammers using a Spam Bow and his minions fighting the player with weak Trollswords. As the player is about to prevail against the spammer leader, he escapes the LMAO Bar and flees Fast Threads.
To be continued. The player will probably end up getting banned by corrupt mods for whatever reason, then have to escape Refugee Camp.
Feel free to criticize and suggest things.

This, but instead of items they should be spells.
Make In the News a U.S versus the UK battle. Also if you could add me as a food vendor I would be entirely grateful.
I want to be the guy who hangs around in Games Discussion and the MMO subforum, GD and it's subforum, and just sits there, watching. Eventually, though I should somehow play some awesome role by giving the main character the item to kill the last boss as he heads to it's location.

side quest idea:
venture through the MSpaint section and fight a bunch of horrible drawings and interactives.

Quest giver is Daijitsu.
In General Discussion, have groups of people hurdled around arguing about on of the many reoccurring arguments. Like religion, drugs, furries, etc.
Also Lankist should be in the refugee camp as an NPC.
Weapon idea: Religous symbol,Makes enemy's argue with each other indefinably allowing a safe escape or summons a mod which bans all the enemy.
Also can i be in this as some random person in the tf2 forums?
While you're in the Refugee Camp, you find a prisoner named Lankist.

Damn Ninjas.... :ninja:

Also, Make the Military. or one of the Armies the Pixel Wars Sub Forum.
There should be hats that you can aquire that do absolutely nothing.
My suggestion? Put in Love Advice as some sort of poetry/coffee bar where nervous teens come to read their emotional stories. On either side of the stage there are two seating areas; one side yells at them to grow some balls and start being chauvinist jackasses, while the other tells them that it's okay to be cowardly morons. Additionally, the TF2 section should be like a stock exchange: "NEW UPDATE! Sell, SELL!" "Buy up Natascha! It's about to go OP!" "Trading hats! UNUSUAL hats! Come on, COME ON!"
make trolls :)
Make a recurring monster you cant just beat or ban...
Call him Wallid.
It has to have a climatic ending where you're fighting Garry and you get permabanned to save the rest of the team.
[editline]6th November 2010[/editline]
Trolls are the main monsters.
Put me as a sidequest
as I try to reconnect with my alt
I think you should let people make their own guy and play Multilayer (If this stuff won't work for RPG just rate me dumb, i don't know anything about RPGs.)
There should be some sort of dungeon with a decaying statue of the Bad Reading and Bad Spelling ratings.
I want to be a guy who at the starts gives you a faster ISP. (Bicycle)
You play as a minion of Firerain, and seek to wage war on Garry and his Kingdom.
The Mods (and to a lesser extent, the Gold Members) are your enemies; low-level Golds are the fodder of Garry's forces, the Mods are officers.
Your weapons are the powers of trolling, memes (the strongest being 'fail' images, the weakest being legitimate, humorous memes), and shock images. Ultimate powers or weapons include DDOS attacks.
The game will take place over a series of eras; from the original Facepunch to Oldpunch to Lab 1 to Lab 2 (the present). The politics within Gary's Kingdom will accurately represent the events that occurred within these eras (the fall of Dragon, the death of Hezzy and his subsequent but ultimately weaker resurrected replacement, Love, the first attempt upon Garry's throne by Firerain, etc).
The Moderators, or Officers, will each take the form of one of the great Moderator avatar ages; the age of Kermit, the age of Shark, etc.
The Golds will be the upper-class of the Kingdom. Some will have formed guilds; the Elemental Guild (those with avatars taken from the Periodic Table), etc.
The player will be able to choose between several playing styles, from stealth (blending with the regular Blue population and slowly gaining the trust of the Moderators and, eventually, Garry) to brute force (constant, unrelenting attacks on the lands of the Kingdom) to all out war (raising and army and preparing the DDOS-Machine), depending on their personal preference.
Early Zelda-style, perhaps.
Obligatory 8-bit soundtrack.
I guess I could be one of the crazy characters, who rants about elder fiends and cosmic gods and insane crap like that.
Make enemies with joindate November 2010 and the Justin Bieber stock avatar, and then they use his music for attacks and such. And they drop JB records which can be crafted (Crafting sction in tf2 forum?) into some OP radio weapon that plays JB music doing shittons of damage.
