I remember NFS 2 so much with all of the vehicles that you had to cheat to get.
Especially that Ford Indigo.
What's with people and 'unhdergraund ist besht imo' bullshit?
Underground was a disgrace, seriously.
I don't want to see future Underground series. I want NFS to stay on its roots.
THE END.
The only bad thing about it was vehicles would always stop you on a dime if you hit them.

I think the SUV's were pretty unstoppable in that game, am I correct?
My favorite NFS was on 3DO... 3DO had a lot of kickass games on it... Wing Commander, Return Fire, Need for Speed, Motherfuckin Shockwave, RoadRash.... damn thing cost $700 when it came out, more than a fucking Playstation 3 did

Ah I remember hitting 203 Miles per hour with the Lambo Diablo on that city track, good times... this was back in 1994 Mind you, so those graphics are ahead of their time
I always thought that hot pursuit 2 was the best need for speed game
I think the code for the titan was hotrod, there's also flash that unlocks that phantom car.
I dug up my PS1 disk some weeks ago and want to try it again on emulator sometime.
Holy shit it was.
NFS_PD unlocked all Police cars, including the awesome Caprice.

CRATME, LOGME, LIMOME, OUTHME.
They were awesome.

I still love that graphic style, It's just got this.. feeling to it. The mix of 2D sprites and 3D models.
CLK-GTR was the car of the game. Mclaren was overrated :v:
Also, didnt Landstrasse have a huge shortcut a few seconds into the lap?

That's for PS2.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
The soundtracks were gold too.
Rom Di Prisco, Saki Kaskas, etc.
Goddamn I remember this game on my Dad's PC.

NFS4 soundtrack was better. Def beat, Bionic, Dude in the moon, Etc.

Pretty much yes.
Electro Optik was great.
I love NFS3: Hot Pursuit and NFS: Underground far more than this. High Stakes didn't have the feel of Hot Pursuit. Also, Underground had an amazing soundtrack, glorious visuals and awesome cars.

I wish there was an agree/disagree rating.
NFS3 was godlike, and UG's visual were great, but the cars, man, the cars. They were hideous.

You're talking about UG, right?
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
That's because it's ricer culture.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Fucking cops :argh:
There's always 2-4 of them to stop me and instant 'ARRESTED!!!'
Am I the only one who thoroughly enjoyed driving the BMW M5? Hell, it could hit the roof of a tunnel on Durham Road. No other car I used could do that.
I think that car's quite great.
I prefer the 911.
NOOOOOOOOOOOoo
The game is on my desk! WITH NO DISC!

I remember I tried to play lawful citizen as a joke to my friends, but all of a sudden I lost control, and then I pulled over to the side and waited to get a warning
:v:
I have some fond memories of this. NFS 3 will always be the best old NFS for me because of the soundtrack, but the sheer modability of this puts it at close second
Damn Snowy Ridge.
Always hit wall on the hairpins every damn time!
Does anyone know whats going on with my copy of Nfs4 (PSX)? See, on some races, at random, the music stops, and it lags every 10 to 20 seconds, and then, when I finish the race, it freezes. any idea whats happening? my idea, it's just plain age. the game came out '99, its 11 years old. (If I did my math right)
Try changing the plug-ins.
Are you playing on the emulator?
Which track had the train running along it? It was in a forest i think.
Which track had the train running along it? It was in a forest i think.
Kindiak Park, Canada.
Quite a windy track.
Man, i loved that track. I used to try and drive along the tracks at the section you could get onto them.

If the train is not around.
If the train is not around.
the train causes great pain to those who get in front of it...
some even call it...
THE PAIN TRAIN
EDIT:
I agree with you if you think my joke sucked
