There is a HD release of atleast MDK 2.
Alright I actually need healp remembering a game from the past, I cannot for the life of me remember but I can describe it. The game was a sidescrolling game on the SNES the setting was in a jungle like environment with little slugs as enemys, you played as a male and the art style was kind of "pixel art" it looked pretty nice graphically. I hope this is enough info its all I can remember..
This game just appeared inside my head.
