Don't worry guys, I've been reporting all the LOL ITS OUT!11 posts as spam :v: Anyways, fuck off ElTacoCunt (User was banned for this post ("trolling" - Jimbomcb))
So, could someone direct me to a 'complete' tileset such as Mike Mayday's? Like someone else posted, his is a bit cartoony, but the other sets only have characters, and not land or anything else.
Tilesets are to be for basic game understanding then slowly wheened off like a puppy to its mothers milk.
If you want good looks without a tileset, play with Bisasam's DORF FORTREZZ AYCHDEE. (It's big, there's a reason it's thumbnailed.) [img_thumb]http://df.magmawiki.com/images/6/6d/Bisasam_24x24_preview.png[/img_thumb] Download this: Only works if you're using a OpenGL version, obviously.
Er... it's still a bit confusing. And @ BlueSaint, that's exactly why I'd like a tileset, so I can get interested more in DF, and maybe understand it better. Anyone know of one that's similar to MayDay's, but better? More descriptive/visual could be used to describe what I'm looking for.
Tilesets are to be for basic game understanding then slowly wheened off like a puppy to its mothers milk.
Or for people with bad eyes who don't want to destroy them further by squinting at symbols for several hours. :colbert:
My dwarves are retarded. They're making wooden trumpets.
I require my ground and floor tiles to touch each other or I go stark raving mad.
I think Mayday's is as good as it gets.
Mayday Tileset with Beefmo/Mayday Graphics Set is as good as it gets.
I'd like to learn how those tilesets work, so I can mod my game and add custom creatures. Also, lol @ the people getting banned.
Wow, I wake up and five people are banned. And no devlog yet.
Bah 38+ post, thought it was out damn. I hope for this weekedn.

You can grow these or import them from traders. Unless you have some in stock or are expecting traders very soon you probably will lose this dwarf. Silk cloth Cave spider or giant cave spider silk cloth. Unless you have webs around the fort you will need to import this. Unless you have some in stock or are expecting traders very soon you probably will lose this dwarf. Bones You may have some from the last goblin ambush. If not butcher an animal like a cat or mule. Stone blocks Have a mason carve some stones into blocks. You will need to provide all that is asked for to get an artefact. if you are unable to get some items in reasonable time (probably the cloth) consider sealing the dwarf into that shop instead as failed moods have a chance of creating berserk dwarves. Most players keep a supply of bones, shells, blocks, cut and raw gems, raw glass, all types of cloth and as many types of metal as possible for moody dwarves. I could say we keep rough stone as well by we tend to have more then we know what to do with so it doesn't count..
Is there any ways to get more magma in a magma pool?
Is there any ways to get more magma in a magma pool?
Pump it from a magma pipe
Pump it from a magma pipe
Don't have one, doesn't matter anyway: Your settlement has crumbled to its end. goddammit HFS.
My dwarves were thirsty, and there was nothing to brew. My well, to be attached to the underground lake under a mountain and above my fortress, wasn't built yet. so I DRAINED THE UNDERGROUND LAKE HAHAHAHAHAAAA but now I need to make sure that I keep the zombie cave crocodiles inside Edit: {LARGE PICTURE}
How do you get your screen so wide? I can only get it 1152x400 even in full screen its the same but surrounded by blackness. like this.
Experiment with the mouse scroll.
Holy crap, I just found some pictures of the Stonesense mod thing. I think I'm gonna use that one.
I just made some adamantine armor for my dwarf, I set his armor to plate but he refuses to take any armor on. Why?
Three goblin ambushes in 5 seconds. The first ambush was wiped out by my two Marksdwarves, and the last two were taken out by my Swordsdwarf squad (Tyr and the newest addition, Wiglaf.) Those Godless Goblins are up to something. Why?
Does he already have Plate armor on? Is the Adamantine armor in the armor pile? Is someone already wearing the plate armor?
Is Dwarf Therapist known to cause Dwarves to not do their work? I've designated trees to be cut down, they are accessible yet my woodcutter refuses to do it.
Well, it looks cool now, but I'm still really confused. Gonna try to understand more once I get home.

Is it an artifact? Only champions can wear and use artifacts.
I'm a bit worried about some of the stuff in the new version. Only one champion at a time? Attributes have an upper limit? Bizarre and unpredictable megabeasts? The new version is going to feel very, VERY different. No more one-dwarf-armies? No indomitable forces? Could it be that the game may in fact be getting... HARDER? :ohdear:

He'll be both your most awesome dude and a support character.
