It should work, however you will need to use a older release since, he started using a .png tile set which I don't think is supported in the current release. So grab an old release, copy over the graphics files and just copy over the graphics setting in the init file.

Try manually...
I find it likely that there is aquafier in every place in your generated world.
They seem to be everywhere.

It worked for me, unless the world gen made in your case, placed aquifers everywhere.

I think you go into the [m]ilitary menu and press [f] to bring up the ammunition screen, then assign a type of ammunition to a dwarf.

Tried it, still wont equip them.
Yeah okay, mountains still don't have aquifers but the areas immediately surrounding them do. So just be sure to only dig deep in mountainous regions and keep digging in soil/sand to only one or two z-levels down. Also pocket islands are the most adorable things ever.

You can also find an underground cavern, they have muddy floors, so they're already irrigated.
Adamantine weapons and armor allow you to take on multiple dragons at once.

Okay i figured out how to activate a squad. You have to give it a order. Dwarves will dress up and take their equipment and will do the order.
