Something has gone wrong. Not only has my attempt at roasting a noble that was loitering on the surface unsuccessful, there are now roaming blobs of lava migrating back and forth across the landscape. Guess I need more practice using the doomsday engine!
Got some decent engravings of burning dwarves though!

You need a mechanics workshop and a dwarf with the "mechanics" profession enabled in the labour menu (v-> go over dwarf->p->l (small L)
