Toady has said multi-threading will probably be one of the last things he did in DF.
I was terrified when my first megabeast, a Dragon, came to my most prosperous and non-fucked-up fortress. I bet the Dragon was terrified when my MG42 squad (marksdwarves) showed up at the scene. I never knew wooden bolts could be so deadly.

I now have consumed 3 large veins of Coal in my forging of over 100 bars of Steel, including around 30-40 bars of Platinum.

Now that you can make burrows, and make squads guard specific burrows I can finally have my squad of dabbling wrestlers guard my nobles.
