Modern Warfare 2 To Cost $60 USD on PC For No Reason - Games

Yea, I only get brand new games on Christmas or something. I can't bring myself to pay 60$. Unless it's like TES.

The $10 isn't putting me off from buying it... it's how Instead of making Airstrikes and Helicopters less of a pain in the ass in hardcore servers, they added onto it by adding the C-130 and shit... Won't even bother now

you all dont get it, the 10$ increase in price isnt constituting making a better game, it's just to feed the company more money because they know they can increase it and still have people buy it.

PC games stay at $50. And no recession bullshit either, if they want to up the price they could put another dollar on.

An extra $10 is no problem for me, but I feel they're taking advantage of PC users. I just hope this doesn't start a trend.

Sounds like Activision (maybe IW) is getting greedy. Unless they get some complaints about this new price, I'm going to assume that they'll continue charging an extra $10 for games in the future.

Well I for 1 do not care of this 10$ raise because not only is it 60$ or more on every other platform, but a lot of people are going to buy the limited edition which is 80$ or so. Not to mention the 150-200$ prestige edition. If you can't afford to pay another 10$ or borrow it from someone then that's just sad. PC games have a lot more to offer too, such as mods or skins that other platforms don't have which should substitute for a mere 10$ extra. And who knows, maybe Modern Warfare 2 has a couple of tricks up it's sleeve that in the end would make it seem that the 10$ extra was a generous offer.

I thought all PC games cost that much? WHY DID I PAY SO MUCH FOR ALL MY GAMES!?? :crying:

I have no problem paying 60 USD for a game here. 60 USD are 40€ here yet we're going to have to pay 60 to 65€ which is [b]85$[/b]. I'd gladly pay the fucking 60 bucks the BULLSHIT is that in the end I'll have to pay 60€/85$.
