Any1 idea why can't HAWX remember that I've already done a mission. When I quit my profile and then login it forgets every single thing I did (like starting from 0 xp again etc.) And can any1 make a mod which enables A10? I'm sure it would be kick ass online. 1 guy flys A10 while others cover his back (maybe with F22 :))

It's shit.
I thought he had a modded plane, because he was moving around so strangely, sorry about that XD
If you're talking about me, I did have a modded plane, my F-15A goes 3600Km/h and does some really messed up stall moves.
Copying model and texture files from other planes to "make" planes other planes doesn't count. Which is why I didn't add any planes lacking model or texture files.
The SU-37's and SU-27's texture maps and UVW maps are completely identical though, and the real life versions are variants that also look very similar, if the full version is going to use the same models for the SU-35 and the SU-37, then there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to too.
Triple post, but the mod from the previous page has been fixed. New DL Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0hnjqmed0cy
That looks so stupid, "Hey let's put lights all over this thing!"
Except those lights are a lifesaver when playing in the dark.
My display driver keeps freezing. :(
Was reviewed on IGN, got 6.7. "...there just isn't a good sense of speed as you careen through the skies at more than 1,000 miles per hour. Even getting close to the ground isn't all that inspiring. It feels more like you're flying an airliner than a fighter jet going faster than the speed of sound." (IGN.com) 1x agree
That looks so stupid, "Hey let's put lights all over this thing!"
Every light is a button, and I play in the dark.
This game is so incredibly unrealistic. :( "You're stalling! Pull hard on the joystick, you'll magically regain control!"
This game is so incredibly unrealistic. :( "You're stalling! Pull hard on the joystick, you'll magically regain control!"
Realism went down the shitter after the decline of simulators.
Realism went down the shitter after the decline of simulators.
Realism and simulators wouldn't have gone down the shitter if they weren't so horribly boring and dull.
Realism and simulators wouldn't have gone down the shitter if they weren't so horribly boring and dull.
That is regular flight simulators, what about combat simulators?
That is regular flight simulators, what about combat simulators?
Falcon 4 fuck yeah! Nothing beats flying 20 minutes to your target, dropping a bomb, and flying 20 minutes back. I love airplanes and am a FSX nut, but Ace Combat has always been the most fun. I'll pick up HAWX on PC.
Sick of having to grind to unlock those planes? Unfortunately, the complete profile still requires you to do quite a bit of 'leveling-up' to get those planes. But not any more! I made a mod that makes it trivially easy to get to level 40 by lowering the xp required for each level (it follows an exponential curve, for those that are interested). Level 40 is obtained with 10000xp, lowered from the ~1400000xp needed previously (as a reference point: you'll probably be at around level 20 when you complete the game, which is about ~50000xp). Your xp will continue to increase after level 40, but it will not be displayed. Additionally, it works everywhere, including multiplayer. Download it here Combine this with the complete profile and get every plane in-game! To install: just drop it in Program Files\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X\ To uninstall: delete it Happy flying! :)
got this game for the 360 and I absolutely love it, it blows Ace Combat out of the water, or should I say sky, hurf durf
im gonna get hawx on xbox 360 this week...
Bought the game, not truly special. Although it has a great look and an awesome plot twist. I don't believe it's worth the $50 though. No VOIP to chat with people online with.
I found it funny that the YF-12 flies faster than the missiles it fires
Also what the fucks up with missiles and flares firing off randomly. It pisses me off.
Also what the fucks up with missiles and flares firing off randomly. It pisses me off.
Shut off the voice commands. I gotta say, I enjoyed the shit out of this game. It's not realistic in the slightest, but zooming the camera out and watching the F22 do shit that blatantly defies physics is awesome.
People say the manuevures in the game were impossible but I watched something on one of the discovery channel varients, history, turbo or something and there was a plane that used computer guided flight along with manual and it could do 180 turns virtually on the spot and crap like that although it malfunctioned and the pilot ejected but hey :D It was interesting. hawx is a decent game but i could never imagine multiplayer being good with modern fighters, lock on, shoot which is why I enjoy IL-2 more..

Awesome There is also a gun, but it is very hard to use.
How is this a Tom Clancy game? It's got NOTHING to do with his novels at all.
yeah
I found this game in my XFX HD4890 box when I bought my new pc. I decided to try it out. Although I haven't played that much, the gameplay is rather "blah". You just fly in the direction of your target, wait for the lock on signal and then press space to shoot. That's it, or am I doing something wrong here? [editline]11:16AM[/editline] Also, forgot to mention that I am more into simulators rather than arcade games. (I prefer ARMA 2 over Battlefield 2 etc) So I find IL-Sturmovoik more entertaining.
Also, is it possible to active your key in the Ubisoft store? Because then I am willing to trade it for a copy of Men of War on steam. [editline]01:33PM[/editline] Wops doublepost.
