I tried it again, I have characters all up and down the level brackets and I hate playing every single one of them.
I tried really hard to like this game but there's still so much stupid shit that exists that makes me hate it. There's virtually no entertaining content after Tortage, barbarians are still horrible, HoXs are STILL THE FUCKING BEST THING EVER. Old visual bugs still exists, more trivial garbage like the 1 point in casting concentration = 800 points in casting concentration.
I played on Cimmeria, a high-pop open pvp server. There's nobody PvPing anywhere except a few dickheads ganking people at white sands. This game has gone almost nowhere since launch.

I'm on Cimmeria as well and there's pvp everywhere but it's mostly open world pvp at lower levels and levels don't mean too much in this game if you know how to play your class, barb's are not horrible at all and I can even beat a decent hox on my conq at level 80 and conq is pretty much one of the most gimp classes at the moment. There's a lot of new content already, 2 new zones, pvp and crafting additions, new armor and weapon drops, several new dungeons and there is an expansion in the works and a lot of details are going to be released in a month.
Also there's going to be all of this in the next patch alone: more guild features, Tier 3 raids, house of crom, a new instance in commons, and a new kind of minisiege thing called siege towers.
Join a guild and stop finding lame things such as your own playing ability to hate the game, the only classes that don't require practice to be good at are demo and necro so roll one if you're getting destroyed, or just leave no one will care.

Got a free copy with the 30 free days for this so I figured I'd give it a shot. Been playing a Bear Shaman on Tyranny of with some of the guys from my ArmA 2 outfit, and I gota say it is pretty fun. Bit unbalanced in PvP at times, but still pretty fun. Nothing like hitting a guy in the nads with a 7 foot long giant mace, then cracking his skull open like a melon and spraying his brain matter all over the ground.
Just bought it today and have it installing now. Anything I should know? Keep in mind, I havent played an MMO since RS came out however many years ago (RS1 for the newer people)

I've been playing this some more and I really enjoy it. I highly recommend everyone gives this game a shot.
