Not sure why everyone thinks that Half-life 1/2 and Starcraft 1 are overrated, but I would have to say TF2 is overrated.

I hate the "Oh HALO sucks so bad, worst game ever, stupid shitfuck fagballs" bandwagon. The game isn't that bad. Perhaps not the best one out there but still it's decent and the multiplayer is actually great, campaigns are nice but nothing special. Play a game before judging it.

The halo games are freaking amazing to play with a friend splitscreen!

I remember playing call of duty 1, 2, 3 ,4 and World at War and Moderwarfare 2 now I loved 1, 2 and 3 and 4 was okay, but now call of duty is massively over rated people saying how it's the best game ever made and stuff and won't touch the previous ones cos apparantly their no good. I really want to know how it got so hyped up cos I quit MW2 cos of all the stupidness on servers and obsessiveness over the game.

Or die and rot in hell if you don't like it they think. You gotta be careful about what you say about Valve on the Valve loving forum. Typing things like "Should there be vehicles in Team Fortress 2?" can get you thousands of dumb ratings just because you posted a curious, harmless thought.

OP hates all games that sell alot of copies.

Team Fortress 2. After being overwhelmed for two weeks with all the new polycount things, I took a step back and realised that the game had become a huge conglomerate mess of useless shit.

I am really disliking this goddamn "TF2 sucks now" :bandwagon: , Valve added content that people wanted in the game AKA the trading system and some new unique weapons from the polycount contest, yet the same idiots who complained about the lack of the trading system are now complaining about it. Yes it has some problems right now but the game itself is still great and fun.

Reccettear. While a fun game, it was hyped to be "Pawn Stars: The Game", but ended up being a pretty ho-hum shop manager with an afterthought dungeon system.

I really don't see what the fuss is about. Sure, it's a fun game, and I do not regret the purchase even the slightest bit, but I do not understand what all the hype is about. For one, I really dislike the free running system. Infamous did it much better. Infamous' free running/climbing system is criticized for being too clingy. I'll take that over AC's any day of the fucking week. In Infamous, the character would end up hanging from the wrong building. In Assassin's Creed, Ezio ends up jumping down to the street like a fucking lunatic, taking out at least half his health with him.

Minecraft. Seriously, Legos aren't new.

Half Life 2. It is a great game, but people make it seem too amazing. Fallout 3. Just not that fun to me, I already played Oblivion for over 100 hours. Fable 2. For some reason I didn't like it much. Fable 3 looks better. Gears of War. Short lasting, don't care about it. Counter Strike. It's a good game, but definitely what it is made out to be. Halo. Once again, good series, but not worth anything above a 9/10

I never thought i would say this, but GTA IV.

I found Modern Warfare to have a fun singleplayer, I enjoyed it a lot but I didn't think the multiplayer was in anyway special so I would have to say the multiplayer aspect was overrated. Modern Warfare 2 I really didn't like and thought was extremely overrated, I preferred both the singleplayer and multiplayer from the first. I found Halo 3 to be overrated in aspects. Not because it was a bad game, but because of the fanatical fanbase which tends to think it is the single greatest thing since sliced bread. It is one of the rare FPS games that is entirely based on a player's skill. In games like MW, sure the better player will get a higher score, but in Counter-Strike, if the player is better, don't expect to kill him in a head to head fight.

Modern warfail 2. Ask me about any other game i don't like, and i'll be all "hrmm, i didn't like it, but i sure won't judge you if you disagree..." But THAT game...holy shit...it was like the drunk chick at a party throwing up halfway through the blowjob.
