I have to say Bioshock, the game isn't groundbraking or anything. Graphics are nifty and the setting is new but the rest was meh.

It's actually pretty average really, it was fun for the first +300 hours or so, but its not as good as Facepunch makes it out to be.

That is still a total of 12 and a half days spent playing. If you spend that much time on a game I don't see how you can call it average.

I know for a fact that many people who claim Halo 3 is overrated haven't even played the game, and they base their claim solely to that they see the game's adverts everywhere; in TV, out in the streets etc.
Halo 3 had a phenomenal PR machine behind it, and good marketing is not a valid reason to claim something is overrated.
The reason of PR is to get people talking about the game, and they certainly did just that.
Is it a good game? Sure. 10/10? Maybe not, I mean, sure the multiplayer is good and everyone knows that, but the singleplayer was quite short, and it didn't quite live up to the expectations I think. Maybe 8/10 at best.
But yeah, that's just an opinion.
Every game that is considered one of the best ever is overrated.

Personally I preferred Halo 3's campaign to Halo Reach's campaign, however multiplayer wise Reach DEFINITELY wins.

What really confuses me is how everyone thinks that the story is amazing.

People have said it before, but Half-Life 2, Portal and Left 4 Dead 2.
Please don't make me elaborate. The answer to the first two should be seemingly obvious to anyone intelligent, and for Left 4 Dead 2 it was barely innovating over its prequel and both of them only have the value of $20US each, that should have been the launch price of them. At least Valve could've made all the L4D2 content free to L4D owners instead of making a new game.

Hardly. South Korea itself has received it generally well, although there are still a lot of BW players. Many have changed over to SC2 though.

I was pretty poor in 2008/9, which was the majority of my time. I'm not saying its bad, I'm just saying it isn't as amazing as Facepunch says it is.
