Today Fallout 3, tomorrow demo and Fallout 3.
How long is the demo?
Fairly short. I think it's just mainly to show you what it's like. I think I completed the demo in 10-15 minutes at my first play. The game consists of a training level and then some running away and beating up guards shit. There's also a race mode, but you have to have some sort of pre-order code you get from the site, DARN.
Demo was awesome man....the time trials alone (and that is only 2 short time trials) had me occupied for 45 minutes.
Hey, could you post the code to unlock the time-trial?
The PC version 'hits the shelves' more than a whole month after the PS3 and 360 versions.
11.13.08

Alright, thanks.
Woah, a demo came out? Edit: HOYL CRAP IT'S TRUE. Edit: 6% done!
It's out on Xbox now? Good for you lot! You'll have fun. My favourite bit is how you can go through it in so many ways
94 percent guys
My god, I was filled with infantile glee when I played the demo. I wasn't even disappointed with fucking up and getting moved back a little in the level, because it meant I could do it again, only better. Any other game I feel like I'm being scolded for failing.
Any other game I feel like I'm being scolded for failing.
What do you want other games to do, pat you on the back and put you several minutes ahead of where you died?
What do you want other games to do, pat you on the back and put you several minutes ahead of where you died?
Oh seriously, don't even try to start a petty argument for your enjoyment.
Fairly short. I think it's just mainly to show you what it's like.
Sounds like a bad demo - I mean Quantum of Solace bad. If you just want to see what it's like, there are trailers and gameplay videos for that.

Exactly, I now understand the basic control setup. I thought it would be a lot harder.
Sounds like a bad demo - I mean Quantum of Solace bad. Nearly all the demos I have and had, from PS1 to PC, barely reach 20 minutes of gameplay.
There's a difference between playing and watching.
There's not that much difference between watching and replaying the same ten minutes over and over again. Variety and length in a demo go a long way in helping make an informed decision on whether it's worth buying. EDIT: Even the lack thereof is a good indication that it has neither of those two qualities.
hmm, sad there is no free roam :(
A great thing about this game is the damn atmosphere, music, environments.

O man :(

Just downloading the demo now.
There is only 9 levels in this game. the last level is a cutscene.
11.13.08 PC version.
try more like
Pre-order Ships 1/6/2009
and more http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/18/mirrors-edge-is-delivered-onto-consoles-nov-11-pc-version-del/ pc version is not coming out with the console version! Also demo on 360 was mad fun but very short I beat the whole thing in 10 minutes.
Holy shit, I didn't think it'd be so smooth.
