The Unreal Engine is perfect for this game because of all the running and jumping.
You can see why people think it's Frostbite and not UE 3 with all the colours.

Why, are you're saying UE3 has the inability to display colours? Battlefield Bad Company is just as brown as any UE3 game.

Mirror's Edge was in development before B:BC. If it was being developed after you'd probably see it on the in-house engine as well.
Kinda a pity that the trailer analysis didn't go into the tattoos (?) on Faith's arm when she kicks the shotgun away.
