No, ATI cards don't support hardware PhysX, it's not the developer's fault.
Well, I've never said it's developer's fault.
I was hoping for some kind of software mode, like you install a physics driver and you play so a stronger processors or something could compensate for the lack of physics card. (Like in GRAW)

hello lags.
i heard about problem "slow-mo" on cracked game (lol i have it) but i also heard about same problem on legacy registered games. is that true?
so
how will i run it on my laptop?
2x dual core 1.8ghz, 2gbram and 8400M G 128mb.
So it's out, yeah?
Friggin' sweet.
I get to badger my dad today :V
Just tried the game out on PC, fucking incredible.
c2d e6750 @ 2.66, 2gb ram, 8800gt
Runs all maxed with physx enabled. Runs very smooth. This is the first new game of 2009 that isn't a bad port like gta4 and sr2 was
-
Yeah what do you do at that part when it is superslow in realtime and Faith is walking :(

Well, you also have to remember that the engine itself is native to the PC. I assume that it's really just a matter of porting the assets and game code, seeing how most engine optimization is already done.
Anyone of you with Nvidia cards and the new driver: Does this support ambient occlusion?
If so, screenshots please.
damn 2 more days until us in eurape get it on PC :(
So, what is better on the PC version than the console ones?
Besides Physx.

You really shouldn't need it. I was pretty taken aback by the quality of the lighting without any enhancements whatsoever. Of course, it's all baked and whatnot, but it still looks really damn good.
I suppose it should support SSAO though. I don't see why it wouldn't.
So no one has any idea what do I do when time slows down and you just walk and can't do anything at all
what are the controls like on the pc version
what are the controls like on the pc version
Default ones are kinda clunky, but I reconfigured and it is all awesome

I didn't really find fault with them. The only thing I didn't like was the use of LAlt, because who in their right mind keeps a finger down there, you know?
With a bit of tweaking, it works perfectly. Much better than using my 360 controller. I just can't see myself ever playing an FPS with a game pad of any sort, and this is no exception.
When is this going to be out on Steam, DAMNIT??!?!?!?
Anyone played it with an 8600GT yet? What's the performance like?
Just tried the game out on PC, fucking incredible. Too bad I get to a level where it slows you down to an impossible moving speed and you just can't do shit, like Reaction Time 2x Slower but in Real Time. Weird.
That's because you pirated it.
It's out on Steam, laddies. Gonna get it tonight.
It's out on Steam now.
I have the choice of this, a new battery for my airsoft gun or a GBB pistol.
WHY MUST I CHOOSE
I have the choice for this, PC parts, or a dvd burner =\
I have the choice of this or this.
SO TOUGH.
Dad has to check some stuff, then I'll probably be getting this :D
Alright, im ''getting'' the game, soon will ''receive'' it

Bad idea. I can't get past the 4th chapter because it keeps you from moving 15 seconds into the level.
This game is very annoying to play because for some reason, sound effects like the street below are incredibly and obnoxiously loud, overriding the dialog and music no matter how high I turn them up in the options. Does anybody else have this problem? What do I do about it?
I have c2d, 2gb ram, but only 8800gt :/
I have a c2d @ 3.6 [watercooled lol]
3GB ram
And an 8800GT.
I get 75+ FPS on max settings.

Ya what the fuck is that!? Same shit for me too. I'm so pissed the game is all interesting too lol

It's Securom. You're using a faulty crack.
i bought it today
It's Securom. You're using a faulty crack.
The only one out there is to play the game, not bypass the Securom. Just wait a few days and Razor1911 will have a working No-CD crack. (No-CD's are legal.)
