I got it
it's great but it keeps randomly crashing
not even crashing to desktop, i have to open taskmanager and end the process
also the resolution is weird, i set it to 1440x900 (my normal desktop resolution) but there's a big black line at the bottom, and if I move the screen position down, there's a black line at the top as well
it's like it's stuck in constant super-widescreen mode

I found turning PhysX off helped with the crashes. I think PhysX was a last minute thing for them and it wasn't optimized enough.
there is a mirrors edge patch that should fix the physX problem

There is a patch out for the physx crashes well it came out before the game did.

It lasted longer with physx on but it still locked up.

Are swat dudes killable? The blues are, but when I try to get a gun from swat dude, he just pushes me back. Oh and, I wish there would be mods or something, because shooting in this game is damn fun.
I just finished Mirror's Edge (got it yesterday, finished it about 8 hours or so), overall I enjoyed it, though I want my fucking runner's bag, fucking gamestop.
I had to disable PhyX since it would make my game into a slideshow in high action areas.

You're right, though, they're pretty rare.
Just got it and tested SSAO:
CPU: Intel C2D E6750 @ 2.66 GHZ
RAM: 2GB
OS: Vista x64
Graphics card: Geforce 8800GTX
Highest details.
SSAO at Low and Medium look awful (make JPG-like artifacts), High drops down my framerate to 15 (full AA) - 20 (no AA). I don't want to increase other detail levels, but SSAO on High looks incredibly beautiful.
Edit: Lowest details don't make a difference in perfomance anyway. 22fps on loading screen with SSAO.
I wish I had a GeForce 2xx.
