I found the train fun.
Also I have my sounds fine.
The only thing that bothers me is the Framerate killing PhysX.
Unplug any gamepad or joystick that is plugged in.
Beat the game.
Twas fun.
The ending bugs me, let me tell you why.

I was looking at the concept art in the game and saw that in the concept, that the player could see faith's breasts when you looked down. I feel somewhat cheated.

Mirror's edge is at least 1/3 of a game, they planned it from the start to be a franchise, that's why it's super liniar and has a strict storyline, which is ironic to have such a limiting game about "[i]free[/i]-running". So that stuff will be explained in as many sequels as they can get people to buy.
Another example is multiplayer, a capture the bag gametype would work brilliantly in Mirror's edge but they've obviously saved that for a sequel.
It's gonna be the new Need For Speed, pooped out every 6 months by random trainee coders.
Maybe the next one or two Mirror's Edge games will be ok but it won't take long for EA to run out of ideas but carry on making the game anyway to milk as much as they can.

I played it on Console (demo), liked it, played on PC and loved it. Then again the over one month wait might have done it as well.

When i boot up the game it boots up in a resolution my TV can't sustain, how do i change the resolution? I can't force it via the ATI Center for some shitty reason.

Try editing this file.
My Documents
...\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\Config\TdEngine.ini
And find the resolution setting and then set it how ever you want to, save the file and launch the game.
I so wish for sdk, making assassination maps would be so fun :(
I have had no problems with the game at all, I am on the third I think right now.
Oh my fucking god, I love the part in Chapter 3 where the chopper shoots up the PhysX cloth/plastic.

Alright so PhysX still crashes even though I installed the patch and PhysX drivers. No big deal, I don't care that much about eye candy.
But thanks to me and Windows 7, I can't hear any sounds on the opening logos or cutscenes so I have no idea what's going on.
Other than that it plays like a dream on full settings.
i would play with physx too , but it makes game crash, so I have to live without it

I didn't know there were trains coming on those tracks when I first got there so I basically shat my pants up to the moon when I was walking up hearing that loud horn.

Use fraps then, I think the free version can do unlimited screenshots.
