I had the same problem as you, I'm not at home right now but I remember in the tdEngine file in My Documents/My Games blablabla there were 2 lines

I just changed it to something my monitor accepted and the game ran fine.
Anyway to load this up inside UnrealEd from another game? I tried Gears of War but predictably, it was too old.

In chapter 4 [sp]The level where you find out Ropeburn has a meeting with Miller[/sp] I get to the part in the beginning, where you head up the stairs and get to the roof that way. Suddenly, when I step on the first step of the steps, my game freezes, and starts 'loading a new level.' It keeps loading for 15, 30, 45 minutes and never quits 'loading.' Apparently Youtube videos tell me that there isn't supposed to be any loading at that part. I can still enter the pause menu as well. (Don't know if that's intended during loading, though.)
Any help, guys?

This happened to me, too. Try restarting your computer/ [b]the game[/b]. If that doesn't work, crouch and go up the stairs.

Your quite wrong sir.
The game seems to not stretch itself to a resolution, and instead just adds black bars. If you play it at a resolution where its lower than your monitor res, and wide enough for it to fit, there will be no black bars.

He's right about the EA part, at least.
I can confirm I still have black bars on a 19" 16:10 widescreen monitor, but they're small (< 1 inch) so I never really noticed until I looked for them.
My monitor is widescreen and I still see the shitty letterboxes.
