I think new updates from Nvidia fixes the low fps encountered with PhysX. I loved this game, but 50$? C'mon.

I've been away from this game for awhile because it doesn't keep me so entertained with slow motion that is too slow and lasting only like 8 seconds.
I've been thinking about buying Mirror's Edge for a while now on PS3. I think I will. It just looks so awesome and so much fun to play.

I agree. No matter what platform you get it for, it's a rent more than anything. After the short story and frustrating time trials... there's nothing left.

Mine is still way to slow on a PNY 8XLR 8800GT G92 512MB.

I got that and I bought it, it's the PhysX lock-up that patch 1.1 fixed.
This game isn't really as good as it looks. Trust me, I bought it and regretted it at about chapter 3. The combat is way too hard, even on easy it's just one or two shots and you're down. You can fight the cops and other enemies for their weapons, but they usually come in storms and surround you, making it very hard to survive a fight with them. The running from building to building is very fun though, very fluent. If my PC could handle it I would buy it for PC though, and get shitloads of addons.

Well, you just have a shirt and pants, and soem shoes, so yeah bullets will tend to hurt a lot.
Stop bawwing about something they tell you about. The game says that combat is hard to survive against groups.

Comes from a mouth of a newb. If you actually think, it is VERY easy to beat guards, I was disappointed by that. Just kill one of them and take their gun, disarming them is even faster and easier. Then shoot all other dudes. I even replayed on hardest without using guns at all, hard but damn fun.
Any fucking mods for this shit yet?! I want to use the console or some cheats ffs. Fuck ea!

I must have had this game for a couple of weeks now and not completed it. Basically it's because I get really really pissed off at it and don't play for a while and come back and complete a little bit and then get pissed off again.
How the heck did you do that? I haven't tried out the UnrealEd yet, I'll borrowing an UT3 disc from my friend.
