She generally looks a lot younger and more attractive there, I doubt it's because of the tattoo.

You never actually see the third-person model, except for the hands and feet.
The model you see in reflections isn't actually the third-person view model, it's an entirely different one. The third-person model has some slightly warped features to make the first-person view look correct.
game devs need to realize that when people look directly down they can see up to their shoulders... not their belly buttons and below.

Most games have a much lower field of view than what we actually see, so if you were to look through a small box to replicate a game's FoV (or a video camera) and would bend down a bit rather than just moving your head down, you'd probably see your waist down.
