I meant it doesn't matter. It is a video-game. Shit doesn't need to make sense.
What a piss-poor argument.
You mean the one on her eye? Apparently, you're not alone: Note how in this picture of a better-looking faith, she has no tatoo on her eye.
Nevermind, I realised early enough that it was a photoshop without the post below me...
What the fuck? Why'd her boobs shrink from those into the flat chest we have now?
Because that's a photoshop from a lonely geek in his parent's basement.
[sp]1. How the hell does Faith dodge fire from 4 guys that are shooting from behind her at point blank range with assault rifles? 2. When faith kicks the guy out of the chopper, how does the pilot suddenly fucking die and lose control of everything? 3. When Faith helps up her sister, they managed to stand and stare out at the city, i mean, where the fuck did the SWAT/Police/Security guys go? weren't they just shooting at faith on the helipad a couple of minutes back?[/sp]
Pretty simple, actually. [sp]1. She's a bloody runner, how do you think you dodged the other bullets in the rest of the game? 2. Look closely as Jacknife falls. In shock he pulls the trigger of his gun and (without noticing himself?) he shoots the chopper and perhaps the pilot. Chopper fails, git jumpin and boom. 3. They've gone down to mop up Jacknife.[/sp]
Well, i just finished it, I gotta say it was pretty fun, the ending was pretty crumby though, it just felt unfinished and inconsistent. What i think is crap at the ending: [sp]1. How the hell does Faith dodge fire from 4 guys that are shooting from behind her at point blank range with assault rifles? 2. When faith kicks the guy out of the chopper, how does the pilot suddenly fucking die and lose control of everything? 3. Oh, and it's 2 guys. For 2. [sp]Jacknife[/sp] shoots from his uzi, [sp]hitting the helicopter pilot + around the fuselage/rotor[/sp] For 3. Stfu already.
Faith is hot IMO.
Faith is hot IMO.
I'd say more pretty than hot. She embodies the very little percentage of females that actually do parkour, which is what, in my opinion, makes her amazing. In general. I'd tap that.

Stupid question I'm sure, but who\what is Mirror? The ' in the title is possessive if I remember right. I was told it makes sense after the end, but it doesn't.
What a piss-poor argument.
Agreed
Nevermind, I realised early enough that it was a photoshop without the post below me...
I thought this ended a few pages back?
Stupid question I'm sure, but who\what is Mirror? The ' in the title is possessive if I remember right. I was told it makes sense after the end, but it doesn't.
Mirror's Edge. As in, the Edge of the Mirror.

I hope the sequel is much longer and enjoyable. Maybe then I'll actually get it.
I actually like the ending, and the story as well. It's a story most can relate to (sticking up for family, saving them, doing the right thing), with a mysterious backdrop. The city itself leaves a lot of questions to be answered, like what's the name of the city? What's up with everything? etc, etc. I think the story of Mirror's Edge is better left untouched, as it's just that, a story. Although, a sequel couldn't hurt.
I don't really get how people claim it's too short, I still haven't finished it yet despite that 've had it for a week now. I suck at it though. :V

Took me 1 day :(
Took me three weeks because of school and whenever I couldn't process through a part, I would try to pass it until I couldn't take it anymore. However, in my second and third runs, I finished it really quick as I knew all the routes.
Took me two (school) days. Yeah, it's short.

Personally, I've always enjoyed fanfiction, since it always explors areas that the developers thought bad or in some cases just couldn't touch.
Well, they've already announced a trilogy so yeah.
Hey, now the thing crashes straight before showing a splash screen. Thank god I'd already finished the game anyway.
i dont undeerstand peepl, man.. "i dont wanna play as a f@#king asian!" -ANY argument at all why? "way too short" -admitted, the game is short, but the joy of replaying it, on the other hand, is great "unrealistic movement" -1. wallrunning IS possible, even at the length shown in ME. 2. it's a f@#king game. "third person view SUCKS!" -well, i dont know how this is a problem, since this is meant to be played in firstperson(!!!) "highlights makes it too easy" -this is just a hint to the simplest/easiest way trough, you can usually find another route, otherwise it is off-turnable "too many loose ends" -well, there gotta be something to explain in the sequel, am i right? 'bout the loose ends, heres a quick summary of the storyline: Faith, along with other runners suddenly get shot by cops and PK-guys, and a guy running for mayor (Robert Pope) gets killed. the plot slowly reveals itself, 'till you find the trainingfacility in PK's warehouse. Merc is killed, and Celeste, turns out to be the infamous "assassin". in the end, we find out that Jacknife, the unreliable runner, is behind this. you kill him, save kate, happy ending.

Nice.

So uh, I installed the game on my desktop PC no problem, I tried installing it on my second OS, but it was going to slowly so I decided to cancel it. Now I'm trying to install it onto my laptop, but it keeps hanging up on RefShaderCache-PC-D3D-SM3 in TdGame/CookedPC of the DVD. I tried transferring the files from the DVD to my desktop but I get a "Cannot read from the source file or disk" error on that file. I checked the DVD and there are no scratches or smudges that would really affect the installation progress. Any ideas? Edit: Nevermind, turns out there was a tiny little smudge near the middle of the DVD. Installed fine. :D
Ugh, now it's making a funny looping noise with like, a 1px gap left of the loading bar finishing.
DLC out http://www.gamecherry.com/2009/02/mirrors-edge-dlc-now-available.html not what i'm expecting because it's not a city
